Student Life and Academic Balance at Amity University

Amity University in itself is a brand. This university in terms of good academic structure and all the events happening. In spite of all this, the timings here are a bit long which is 9 to 5 but after some time, it becomes fairly enjoyable. This university has a very strict compliance of 75% attendance. Sometimes you don't get time for yourself but in the end, it is still good and manageable.

Students here get admission on the basis of their 12th score. I am in my second year of B.A.LL. B (Hons.) and till now what I have grasped is that the course structure is commendable. The subjects which we have studied are very useful. The only negative point here I can see is that there are a lot of subjects. We have to study French, EVS, etc. Having 4-5 main subjects and rest are value-added courses with 1 Minor subject where we can learn something different from our field and also get a degree in that subject. So, it's fun and fruitful.

The faculty of Amity University is truly awesome. They are always helpful whenever we need them irrespective of their subject. They are really good and teach every detail of the subject in the classes and complete their syllabus on time. Faculties are both understanding and knowledgeable. My faculties allow me to even call at night to ask any doubt I have regarding academics so it's really a plus point.

Yes, our university provides placement opportunities, and many top companies come here, and many people get placement from them.

The hostel facilities are good. Rooms are sufficiently big; they have attached bathrooms, and the cleanliness is maintained everywhere in the campus and even in the hostel. The mess is also very clean and yes, I know many people complain about the mess food but overall if we compare it to other mess then our mess is really good. In the hostel rooms every facility such as geyser and AC is provided.

Our campus is 100 acres big. The campus is really beautiful, and infrastructure is something which is appealing to the eyes. The buildings are beautiful, and all the facilities are available to us. Be it a charger socket or something else. Washrooms are always clean. It is fully air conditioned and even in summers, we feel like it's winter inside. Even the academic blocks are always clean, and the cleaning is done every day twice or thrice. In the classrooms, projectors, bench and desk are in good condition. We have proper lecture theatres. It’s really great and the infrastructure is quite good with all facilities. We even have a huge ground for sports and different sports sections for other sports to play such as table tennis, cricket, badminton, etc.

Our campus life is really happening, and the university has many clubs, committees as there are always some or the other event happening every month. Events are organised once a week but according to the department for example, I am in the law department so, there are always events going on in which you can have fun and improve your personality. The crowd is also good. There are many other engagement activities which make the campus life overall really great and enjoyable. In the law department, some competitions are compulsory to participate in which I think is a great initiative because some people don't get the experience of being a part of a social event. Overall, a great university to study and enjoy your college life both. The curriculum is something that I love along with activities that boost your personality.
