ARSD: A Hub for Cultural Societies and Events

The main attraction of the college is its NIRF ranking which is at 5, airport express line and main road availability is also a reason for it. To study in this college a student needs above average marks in the CUET entrance exam. The college campus is good but the infrastructure is average. The faculties are good and the most amazing things in the college are their cultural societies. Fest and events at this college are okay.

BA. Political Science (Hons.) is one of the most desired courses in the university and my reason to opt for this course is the genuine interest in political science and their philosophy and ideology which is relevant in the real world. The study of this course includes politics, ideology and philosophy of politics and thinkers and study of international politics. For admission, you need more than 750 marks in CUET and after that you have to fill the form to a portal where a college according to the marks will be allocated.

The faculty of this course includes teachers at prestigious universities like DU, JNU, JMI, AMU, etc. They have vast years of experience in teaching but sometimes their teaching methods are primitive and do not help in real life where we have to face the real-life obstacles which should be improved. Apart from that, I think few of the teachers need to be more supportive towards the students.

In our college we have a placement cell which is very active and works to get companies to the college. There is also an event we call internship mela where recruiters come offer paid internship opportunities. The Placement Cell regularly shares placement information and placement opportunities in the telegram group.

No, we don't have hostel facilities in college but nearby there is a locality named Satya Niketan where students can get PG and flats, and various cafes and restaurants are also there.

Our college has two floors where some labs and rooms have AC but not every class has the similar facility. In the classrooms there is a fan and lights available and screen and projector are also there. There are two seminar halls, a library with an AC facility, a girls' common room and boys’ common room with an AC facility. There is a ground which is quite big and a gym which is not well-maintained, an atrium hall and sports facilities like basketball court, tennis court, badminton court, volleyball court, cricket and football ground. Canteen, Nescafe and mother dairy products are available to purchase in college.

To live a great cheerful campus life, you need a great friend circle to enjoy every moment of college. Our institute has a great crowd with some exceptions and clubs you can go with friends to, which is near Satya Niketan. Events like a combined fresher party of college named Aarambh is conducted, and annual Fest Tide is conducted in March with Bollywood celebrities that come to our campus. Various societies like Rangayan, Sarang, outbreak, stellar and kalashree are the main attraction of this college and event organising team name Nritya fusion also work hard for events.
