Reasons for choosing VIT-AP University for Higher Studies

I got enrolled to this university in 2022 and opted for Computer Science and Engineering. The university gives you a chance to design your timetable and decide the professors for your better learning experience. This scheme is known to be FCFS which has been given from the second year. The university runs around 20-25 clubs where students organize, manage, and conduct events. The university has an incubation center where new ideas by the students are funded and taken to the next level to make it reliable.

The academic part plays a crucial role in a student's life. Here, at VIT-AP University each course has a theory and lab component (except for some courses). For each course, there will be some prerequisites which will be in the curriculum that students must go through before choosing the particular course. Computer Science and Engineering is a tech domain subject where analytical and logical thinking is a must and I am interested in building logical ideas.

The faculty has about 7+ years of experience in their respective field. They have in-depth knowledge about each topic and explain it very clearly. Most of the faculties at VIT-AP University have a Ph.D from reputed universities like NITs and IITs. They prepare a presentation before the class, display it and explain it in a very effective way. The faculty members are assigned as mentors for every student so that the students can reach out to the faculty members if they are facing any issues related to academics and personal life as well. This will provide some sort of support to the students.

Placement graph is increasing day by day. Here the students can apply to various companies and we have a Career Development Center (Placement cell) in the university where students get trained for the particular interview by professionals. Students got more offers over the years.

I reside in the campus hostel. The hostel is decent and provides room cleaning services, mess service, and laundry service. The fees of the hostel depend upon the bed sharing and AC / non-AC factors. We have a mini-mart in the hostel where students can purchase snacks and some regular needs. The hostel infrastructure is decent where each student is provided with a cupboard of 4 racks with a lock system and a table, chair, and bed.

It has a very good infrastructure like projectors, well-equipped labs, mechatronics labs for mechanical students, and moot court halls for law students. We also have an auditorium of 600 seating capacity where major events of the campus take place and we also have an amphitheater where some external activities are conducted. We also have a vast library on our campus where we get access to most of the books which are more beneficial to the ones who write research papers. The library also has some publications and we can also lend the books for a week.

The experience of campus is very good. We have many clubs in the university like dance club, music club, stock markets club, etc. where students engage themselves in any of their interests and follow their passion. The club which I find interesting is the Bioscope (movie making club), this club brought out 3-4 short films directed by only students and had a good reach over the viewers. A good university must include all the necessary things to bring out the talent of the students. For this reason, I think our university is the best.
