My Life in GGSIPU New Delhi

Overall Rating
Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) is located at Dwarka is main campus of University and a home to 12 USS schools/blocks with various departments. The courses provided here include B.Tech, B.Sc, BBA, LLB, BA, MA, M.Tech, M.Sc, etc. This university built by Delhi government. It is one of the most affordable universities other than DU for higher studies with advanced facilities and opportunities. It also has a good alumni network.
 

Academics Rating
In GGSIPU, B.Tech is available in various streams like CSE, AI, ECE, CT, etc. Admission is solely on basis of JEE Main rank followed by IPU counseling results which generally takes place in June. This counseling generally takes registration in April month. There is 3 rounds for allotment of seats plus an additional spot round for filling the vacant seats.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty members are well established with great experience in their respective fields. They are also open towards student’s questions. Teachers train the students with research mindset along with adequate skills. Most of the faculty members are IIT or NIT graduates with teaching experience sometimes more than 25 years.
 

Placement Rating
We have a placement cell, which not only gives us opportunity in top companies, but also provide the adequate training. The average package is 7.8 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
Their are two hostels for boys and girls with mess facilities,gym etc
the college has a big sports ground and indoor facilities for sports and equipments for athletes and sports enthusiasts
 

Infrastructure Rating
There are many blocks designated as A, B, C, D, and E for various departments in the campus. The university has a big sports ground and indoor arena. The ground can hold huge in fests and sports functions. There are various food points like Nescafe, Amul, juice corner, and canteen so that students can enjoy the campus atmosphere with good food. Other facilities like auditorium, library, and labs are also present in the campus.
 

Campus Rating
The crowd is average with mix of all type of students. The campus life is good when you have good peer group. The annual fest called ‘Anugoonj’ takes place in month of February where whole university comes united to celebrate.

    The university is located in Delhi which was the major reason of taking admission here and I got CSE here which was a add on. GGSIPU New Delhi is a state university and has a decent alum network.     Overall, GGSIPU is very good. It is a reputed institute, having a good infrastructure. There is plenty of diversity here, as there are many students from different places. It’s a good chance to interact with people of your same age group. Many clubs and societies are present here, which allow you to develop some real world skills inside you.     My overall review for Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Dwarka, Delhi is great. Infrastructure of this University is awesome. Blocks (building) are constructed beautifully. The university has separate block for different courses offered. Dwarka campus is the main campus of the whole University consisting of about more than 130 colleges in Delhi. Placements are also good here. For enjoyment they host a cultural fest Anugoonj. It is Delhi's most favorite fest for students.... Read Full Review

    I gave my second attempt for CLAT in 2022 and decided to go to USLLS for to pursuing my law degree. I was already living in Delhi and USLLS is the second-best five-year law school right behind NLU Delhi, so, I decided I will pursue my law degree from this college.
