Overall Rating
I chose this College as it’s in my hometown and if you want a govt. College or semi govt. college then it’s a good college for you. The lab classes are conducted on the regular basis. This increases the coding skills of the students at Samrat Ashok Technological Institute aka SATI. Overall my experience here is great and I having a lot of fun in the college. The teachers are also nice and very supporting if you behave nicely. They are always there by your side to help you with any of your work. Moreover in-house internship program is also conducted for first year students.
 

Academics Rating
You can get entry in the college based on counseling round. CS branch gets closed at 1 lakh and You can also get admission by college level counseling. You should have given mains and 12th boards if you want to choose a B.Tech college. This is not tier 3 college. Samrat Ashok Technological Institute has many branches like CSE, Block chain, AI, IT, IOT, Mechanical, Civil, Electronic, etc.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty ratio at Samrat Ashok Technological Institute is 90-10. Most of the faculty is nice and really supportive. As I mentioned above if you behave they will help always be there to help you. They support you for your semester and end exams. They also help you build and improve your skills, hackathon and much more other stuff. Some teachers provide notes and some of them don’t. Some teachers use projector and some use boards but all of them have a unique style of teaching and all of them are experienced.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, Samrat Ashok Technological Institute has a training and placement cell that helps the students in 3rd year in aptitude. They bring companies to the campus for offering recruitment. Moreover you can also join TNP and can see how placement works. TNP contains students. This is even more helpful as can use their source to bring invite companies.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes we have hostel facilities but I am from Vidisha only so I live at my home. I know few things about College and that are: It has three boys hostel and two girls hostel. The food and the rooms are average. Girls are supposed to get in the hostel last by 8pm.
 

Infrastructure Rating
It’s a really old College but infrastructure is good. The buildings are old but it has a really big campus. The building classes are good but benches are not and it has a big library with great no. of books. There is a big playground and a gym. College has many libraries which are above average. The market is available only few kilometers away from the college. It is also 1km away from the railway station. Samrat Ashok Technological Institute is situated in the middle of the city.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life at Samrat Ashok Technological Institute is good. It depends on you that how much fun you can have in the College. Many clubs are their like speakers club, dance club, music club, technical club and some non official community are also there. One event is held every year named as Samrat Utsav. It’s a three day fest containing competition prizes and fun. Some regular competitions are also held on occasion. The campus is covered with greenery and security.

    Overall, SATI Vidisha is good and has all the necessary facilities. My personal reason to choose this institute was that it is a semi government institute and is oldest engineering institute in central India. It has the strong and oldest alumni network around the country. The institute is near railway station and have the connectivity to every state.     It is very old institute in Madhya Pradesh and has a great track record of placement and students pursing higher studies in foreign countries like Germany, Japan, Canada, etc. I am also fascinated by going to study abroad that is why I chose this institute.     The overall experience is not that bad. The facilities are kind and it's not that bad. They sometimes blame you for not stopping your batch mates for their wrongful doing.     Overall experience till now at Samrat Ashok Technological Institute has been okay-okay. I wasn't going to choose this Institute but it was a compulsion to get admission here. By the way overall faculty of the Institute is good but infrastructure isn't in good condition. There is lots of greenery in our campus and it's so good to walk around.
