Overall Rating
PPSU lies on the National Highway between Ahmedabad and Mumbai around 56 kilometers from Surat. The campus area is 100 acres and the campus is still under construction. I have recently joined this University and so far my experience has been good. The faculties seem good and they are well experienced. The fees is also affordable and not high as compared to other Universities.
 

Academics Rating
The University conducts 2 semester each year with 2 internal and one external exam per semester. In first year every B.Tech student is taught the same things and course mostly includes core engineering concepts and engineering mathematics along with one language and a C programming course. The eligibility for the course is 12 passed with 40% marks. Management quota is also available. Anyone can apply through direct contact or ACPC.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculties are also good and well experienced. They come from premier Institutions such as NIT’s, BITS and IIT’s. They are thorough with the subjects and have an understandable teaching style that suits everyone. The higher semester students are given more experienced faculties while the fresher’s are given to the first year students. Sometimes the faculties do focus more on syllabus completion too.
 

Placement Rating
The University does have a placement cell and it provides full placement support to the students. Various companies like TCS, Wipro and many more visit the campus for recruitment and gives lucrative offers.
 

Hostel Rating
The hostel is also well maintained. The rooms are cleaned 3 times every week. The infrastructure is new and study table and separate locker is provided to each and every student. Activities and sports tournaments are conducted for hostel students.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The Campus infrastructure is really good, academic classrooms are equipped with smart board, AC and Wi-Fi. The laboratories are also well maintained and are equipped with all the required equipments for the students. There are various buildings for different courses, like for engineering B and C block is assigned and for BBA, MBA, A block is assigned. Total 7 academic blocks are there in the whole campus.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life is very liberal and safe. Security guards are there on duty 24/7. Events and fests are organized on regular basis. The University has its annual fest named Kala Kunj that is conducted in February every year. There are various clubs such as Entrepreneurs club, Photography club and many more. Inter University sports activities are also conducted regularly.

    Overall Rating
    I would recommend this university if and only if you are happy traveling for more than 70 kilometers in a day and you do not get tired, because to reach the university requires traveling of more than 3 hours if you use a private traveling vehicle and 4 hours if you use the transportation facility provided by the university.     Since I live in Surat, there are no such good colleges for engineering on which we can depend as basis of placements. Yes, there are colleges like SCET, SVNIT But that is asking for too high scored result and for the normal student with average marks it's really difficult to get admission, so I choose P.P.
