SGSITS is better than other institute in placement, academics, faculty, infrastructure, etc. The only reason to choose this institute is package, which attracts me the most. I am a B.Tech student at this institute and institute life is running well. My institute has separate libraries of all courses.

Academic is really good in our institute. There is proper class of theory and lab classes also. Not only study our institute also focus on developing skills like dancing, singing, how to communicate, painting, etc. There is proper calendar for sports like cricket, football etc. Every year from SGSITS students get selected for nationals in sports. And NCC and NSS community is also great. There are four clubs in our institute, and they organize superb events in every year. Library and gym facilities are also great here. Overall academics are good; I give 8 out 10 in academics.

Faculty of SGSITS is really mind blowing. Different department has different faculty. Some faculty is chill, but some are strict about the study. Information & Technology, and Electronic & Instrument teachers are chill but CSE and ECE branch faculty is really strict about assignment, attendance and marks. There is lab faculty also, they are really good, and they properly explain how to perform experiment. Overall faculty is really good.

My only reason to choose this institute is their placements records. SGSITS institute is much better than other institutes in placement records. The average package of Computer Science and IT branch is 12 to 15 LPA which is really great. Electronic and Communication branch has 10 LPA average packages and average package of core branch is 6 to 9 LPA which is not bad if you from Electrical, Civil, and Mechanical. Yes, our institute has placement cell name is Training & Placement cell. The Cell recruit students every year, selected student get plus point in learning things.

Truly saying, institute hostel is average. They select a very small number of students in institute hostel. 2 boys live in a room, area of room is average and you can live there comfortably. Cleaning is good every day workers come and cleans the room. But washroom is limited there are only 4 washrooms on every floor. Hostel food is also average. According to the other institute’s hostels, hostels of SGSITS are good.

Institute blocks are not too old and new but it looks good. Different department has different blocks. It is very well maintained. The quality is also very good. Not that much of space inside the institute but it is all good. There are Wi-Fi facilities and computers available in the campus. There are guest house and dining hall also. There are projectors in each classroom. The overall infrastructure of the institute is good.

My institute life running really well. SGSITS stands for Shri Govindram Seksaria Institute of Technology and Science, Indore was established in 1952. And there are four clubs, they organize events every year, every student can participate in these events. Every year our institute organizes a fest named AAYAM which is really great. Overall, my institute life is great.
