My experience at TKR College of Engineering and Technology is really good and memorable. This college has everything a student needs to grow and succeed from good infrastructure to supportive faculty. I choose this college because it provides good placement opportunities for students. Mainly, the college management supports students’ ideas and also brings good companies during placement drives. This college also helps students who want to go to abroad, are interested in startups, or who want to compete in national level project hackathons.

I am currently pursuing Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Computer Science & Engineering from the college. The course curriculum focuses on various programming languages like C, Python, and Java. Apart from this, it covers various trending technologies which have currently high value in the industry. Students need to qualify TS-EAMCET to get admission in this program. This examination contains multiple choice questions on Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. In order to qualify this exam, student must get minimum of 40 marks out of 80 marks. The eligibility criteria for this exam is obtaining a minimum of 45% marks in 10th and 12th exams.

The faculty at this college is highly qualified and many of them have PG degrees with more than 5 years. They have in-depth knowledge in their corresponding subjects. In addition to this theoretical teaching the faculty in this college also explains concepts in a practical way. The faculty members motivate students to ask doubts and develop real time projects. Faculties also conduct various hackathons, workshops and give assignments which help students think practically. The professors are very friendly and are always ready to help us with our doubts.

Yes, TKR College of Engineering and Technology has a placement cell which plays an important role in helping the students to get their dream jobs. For every branch, there are individual placement coordinators and our placement team conducts various exams on aptitude, verbal, and logical reasoning which is very helpful for students in qualifying recruitment tests of various companies. The cell organises workshops which are attended by industry experts who help students to gain industry knowledge. The placement cell has built a strong professional network which includes companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and Capgemini. These companies hire students in bulk.

Yes, our college contains residential facilities. Our hostel contains multiple floors and each room accommodates 4 students. Rooms are cleaned in every two days and the wardens are very friendly. Our hostel wardens maintain complaint books in which students can write their problems regarding the hostel and the issue is resolved within two days. Hostellers can also participate in various cultural activities which are conducted in at the Gym in the evening.

The academic block is located at the centre of college and contains multiple departments, classrooms, staff rooms, and labs. The classrooms are also equipped with projectors and smart boards. The library contains a very large selection of books, journals, and other research materials including books for competitive exams. It also has a discussion room which is convenient for students who wanted to do team work. Our college also contains seminar halls and auditoriums in which cultural events, guest lectures, workshops, and academic conferences are conducted. The college labs are very good and enable practical learning of students. The college promotes physical fitness of the students through its sports and gym facilities. This includes various sports activities like Cricket, Basketball, Volleyball, and several indoor games. Yoga classes are conducted regularly at the Gym.

The campus life in this college is very engaging where the students from all the backgrounds come together to learn. This college also contains various clubs like technical clubs, cultural clubs for dance & music, drama clubs, and sports club. Technical fests like hackathons, coding competitions, and project expos are organised at the college.
