Overall Rating
Pondicherry University is a good University to pursue your degree. I chose this University because the geology department of this University is very good. The faculties are teaching very well, and they are experienced. They guide us for future competitive exams. In this University you can explore different cultures and traditions. You can get great exposure from here. This University is best for science subjects.
 

Academics Rating
I joined here as an integrated course student. Later, because of NEP, my course changed to B.Sc. honors. In B.Sc Honors, you can study for 4 years. After that, you may or may not continue with PG for 1 year. For entry requirements, you need to clear the CUET exam and get reasonable marks. There are so many scholarships available, and if you are eligible, you can apply for that.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties in Pondicherry University are very well experienced and knowledgeable. In each domain, different professors are there to teach who will give you great knowledge and wisdom. Most of the professors did their studies from the IIT'S and other foreign countries. Each professor has their own teaching style. In each classroom, there is a projector for teaching. The classes are usually taken in an interactive manner.
 

Placement Rating
The University does not provide you any placements. You have to write competitive exams to get into higher studies or jobs.
 

Hostel Rating
Pondicherry University do provide hostel facilities. Hostels inside this University are pretty good. You can enter or leave the hostels whenever you want. Some electronic items like heaters, projectors, iron boxes, etc. are not allowed inside the hostel.
 

Infrastructure Rating
This University has departments. Only the SEAL course does not have a separate department. Each department has its own qualities. They have classrooms, seminar halls, laboratories, computer labs, etc. The whole arts subject is situated in the "SILVER JUBILEE" side of the campus. The University also has one reading hall and library available. Bus transportation inside the campus is also available.
 

Campus Rating
Our University is filled with students of different cultures and traditions. As a result so many varieties of festivals are being celebrated here. Sometimes renowned scientists or other people will come to this University and interact with students. There are so many clubs which you can join like performing arts club, dance club, etc. There are also various competitions held in this University.

    Pondicherry University has a mesmerizing campus and the environment inside the campus is full of greenery. It feels like you are living in a tourist place, although the city itself is a tourist place. The night life in Pondicherry is something else. Here, there is literally no restriction about anything which is just amazing. One can use this freedom to enhance their skills and work towards their goal to achieve what they want.
