My Thoughts on Kirori Mal College

Overall Rating
It has been nothing but a wonderful experience at Kirori Mal College, which is by the way considered one of the best UG colleges. Trust me it does deserve this title. It secured 9th NIRF ranking in 2024, which make me proud that I am able to study in one of the top colleges of India. I chose to attend this college mainly because of vast exposure and networking opportunities available here. Being a Commerce student, all these opportunities are very much beneficial for the betterment and advancement of one’s career.
 

Academics Rating
I am enrolled in the B.Com course, which is one of the most demanding, and prestigious courses of not only this college but in the all colleges of Delhi University. There is a reason that the course has the highest cutoff in CUET. CUET is the entrance exam, which give me the chance to get entry in Kirori Mal College. This college also has one of the highest cutoffs in all the colleges in DU. The cutoff for this course is around 770 out of 800. This shows the high competition out there.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members are top notch. There are many esteemed names in our teaching facility are well knower in Delhi University. The teachers are supportive to us and help in all the ways to become the best versions of ourselves. They not only teach us but also motivate, guides, and help us for our personal development.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, our college has one of the best placement cells, i.e., Avenue of the University of Delhi. The Avenue is helping students to get their dreams jobs. It also organizes one of the best internship fair in Delhi, which helps students to gain experience related to corporate jobs and be able to secure better placement at the time of campus recruitment.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, we have hostel in Kirori Mal College but only for boys. This hostel has the ability to accommodate around 200 students. It provides the quality services like mess, cleaned rooms, good water facilities, and skilled warden who keep the hostel in discipline. The hostel is quite secure because of the two guards.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There are in total 6 gates to enter in our college. The whole infrastructure is divided into 2 blocks in which one specially made for the courses related Science stream and the other is related to the courses of Commerce and Arts stream. There are 2 lawns in our college for organizing the events, one big ground that consists of basketball court and GYM for all the students. There is one more building especially dedicated to hostel.
 

Campus Rating
The campus is very interesting. My all friends and I enjoy here from the day of the Orientation of college. The college organizes very good fests. There are number of societies that organize various seminars and events with good speakers. These kinds of events help me to be clear about my goals. Students can balance their studies and activities here pretty easily. The crowd is also very interesting as compared to other colleges. All the seniors are supportive and help all of there juniors.

  • Kirori Mal College: Great College to pursue any course with a good placement record

    My overall experience at Kirorimal College, University of Delhi has been good till now. It has a diverse set of students from all streams - Commerce, Science and Arts. It has a good crowd though it is politically active. It is situated in North Campus. You can easily sign up for events happening in the nearby colleges and take part there. You'll get to interact with other people. The College’s back gate opens in Kamala Nagar. So, you can find PGs nearby. It was in my top 5 preference list.... Read Full Review
