My First Year Experience in KIIT

Overall Rating
I just gave my end semester exams of first year. First semester went smoothly in terms of classes and overall experience.
 

Academics Rating
Academically, KIIT is an average institute. The curriculum is well connections. It would be helpful if the staff can manage to complete the syllabus on time.
 

Faculty Rating
The teaching faculty of the institute needs to be improved. Students can have better experience if they are friendlier.
 

Placement Rating
As I am in my first year, I cannot tell about the placements.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, there are hostels in the campus premises. Hostel authority is strict but they are good people and treat all the hostlers nicely. Yes, the hostel washrooms are average but that is because its upto the students also to keep them clean and nice.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure of KIIT is good. The central library, the parks and the roads and classrooms and lecture halls and everything you can imagine is pretty good. To travel inside the campus, there is e-rickshaw, which is very useful. Right now, everything is decorated on the basis of Christmas theme and it looks absolutely beautiful.
 

Campus Rating
I have not explored the campus life yet but as far as I know, the life is great. The place is very happening. Every time now and then, some events and functions are going on in the campus. Make sure you don't miss out the events and life here.

    A very good college with good faculty and wide campus. People are generous here. They will always find themselves involved with fests or sport or academics. It is a reputed college with thousands of opportunities in different fields of your choice. You won’t get a chance to feel left out or get bored. Social networking is also pretty easy and enjoyable.   • Starting My Journey in KIIT, Bhubaneswar
     

    Overall Rating
    As I am first year student, I have not experienced the full environment but I have a wonderful familiarity in last 4 months of my first semester. The facilities at the hostel are good with well-maintained rooms. The academic programs are also designed well. The teaching faculties are well-behaved people and give freedom to know more about the subject. I have chosen this institute especially for the sports facilities as it has the best sports facilities.... Read Full Review

    KIIT Bhubaneswar is a very good campus. There is greenery everywhere withholding a wide range of area. It not like other campus but it is an open campus. System and infrastructure is very much developed here. It is located at the outskirts of Bhubaneswar.     Overall experience is quite good. I choose this institute due to the availability of a range of courses. I have opted for Electrical and CS Engineering. Also the institute is near my home town so it was the best option for me to choose this institute over others.
