Acharya Brojendra Nath Seal College B.Sc Review By Ayan Sutradhar

I love Acharya Brojendra Nath Seal College because it's a very renowned college. We get almost all the necessary facilities in study or sports from labs to classrooms. All are well designed to help us to grow in the fields that we want to explore. On the other hand, photography club, standard club, cinematic club, and science club, all are present in our college that help us a lot to grow our knowledge. In addition, we have a large playground to play cricket and football and a small ground for volleyball, badminton, etc. We have a GYM in our college. Overall, this college is a dream college to pursue B.Sc and it is one of the top colleges in West Bengal.

I am doing gradation in Physics (Hons.) from this college. I get all the facilities for my degree. After completing 12th, we can apply for this course. If any student has interest in the subject and want to know more about it and further study, this college is a one of the best options. From our department many students are now well established in research field or in teaching profession or in others divisions. The entire syllabus had completed in our classes.

All the faculties of our course are very humble and well behaved. They teach us about the topic in a nice way as a result, it helps us to do well in course. They teach us topics in a detailed manner. All the professors are highly educated. Most of them have done PhD and some done M.Sc in Physics. We have total 6 teaching staff and 2-lab assistants in our course.

Yes, we have a placement cell in our college that is formed last year. Many students get placement offers in different companies. They get a sufficient amount of salary for those jobs. The maximum salary was about Rs. 60,000 per month, the minimum was about Rs. 25,000 per month and average was Rs.40,000 per month. Students get jobs according to their eligibility.

Yes, we have residential facilities in Acharya Brojendra Nath Seal College. The hostel is very good. The mess food and rooms that students get are in cheap rate. The monthly cost for hostel including mess charge and all the external charges is about Rs.1,500 per month. The rooms are sufficiently large and shared by 3 people. Many different activities that are provided to the hostel students such as sports, etc.

Infrastructure of my college is very good. There are approximately 14 different courses in our college. The labs and classrooms are also good. In labs, we get all the facilities to do our practicals, which help us to increase our knowledge. In the class, we also have smart boards and projectors. In addition, we have a seminar hall in our college where many seminars and workshops are held. There is an administrative block for official work. We also have a central library, where we can get all the books that we need. A student can take two books at a time. Every department has its own separate library, which is called departmental library.

So in a word, our campus life is just awesome. From the academic part to the sports, life part all is very good. The annual athletic events are held, where all the departments compete with each other. There are above 2000 students studying here, which always make the campus look fulfilling. We have different clubs such as science club, students club, photography club, cinematic, and sports club. Through these clubs, many events are being organized in our campus. Annual cultural fest and open fresher’s party Eve are conducted by the students of these clubs. Basant utsav and many more festivals are celebrated every year. Other than that, departmental fests are done every year separately. Other than all of these, seminars and workshops are frequently organized that help us a lot to gather more knowledge about different topics.
