My Candid Views on NFSU, Gandhinagar

Overall Rating
NFSU is the university of National Importance. Its state of the art facilities, expert faculty, and emphasis over practical learning lays a strong foundation for a legal career, are appreciable. The university is also focus on emerging fields like Cyber Law and Data Science Analysis perfectly aligns with my career aspiration.
 

Academics Rating
I am doing B.Sc LLB. Admission in this course & university can be taken through CLAT exam. After appearing in this exam, you need to fill the admission form of this university. In the end, you can admission on the basis of your merit in that exam. I chose this university for its unique blend of syllabus in Data Science and Law, offering a program that endows me with interdisciplinary knowledge. It is also the first Forensic Science university in the world.
 

Faculty Rating
Teachers are good and well educated. Some of the teachers come from a technical background who have studied Data Science. There are other teachers who teach Law have graduated from NLU. Their style of teaching is good. However, some of them go too fast. Generally, teaching faculty is good, friendly, and approachable. So my experience is good.
 

Placement Rating
As no batch has graduated of B.Sc LLB has graduated from this university, I can’t say much about the quality of placements. However, we do have an internship cell that provides the information about internship opportunities.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, hostel facilities are there. But there are limited number of seats for student. These seats are allotted on the basis of merit. The hostel facilities are fine. Both AC and non-AC rooms are available. International students also reside in these hostels. Overall hostel and mess food is good. There is a VIP mess also.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Academic blocks include Law building, training building, and others. Other utilities in the premises are canteen, sporting garden, sports complex, etc. Talking about classrooms, all of them have good quality seats, projectors, green board, and sound system. A library is there with reading room. Sometimes it feels that library has less space but overall good. Sports complex includes the facilities for the sports like basketball, badminton, table tennis, etc.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is good. All the festivals are celebrated with great joy. However, this university is in Gujarat, so Garba is most energetic commemoration. Single cultural fest is organized in NFSU. In the future, it would be better if management organizes more number of events.

    My experience at NFSU has been no short of a roller coaster ride. I initially joined it because of the uniqueness of the course and the assurance of a 5-year integrated degree, but later fell in love with the place, the people and the festivals.     Holistically the university is decent, considering the fact that it's a pretty new institute of national Importance. It has been doing great. The placements in other schools are decent and if one really wants to study, they can easily get in this university.     Forensic is a 5 year integrated course which provides us with both bachelors and master's degree. NFSU is the only college solely dedicated to forensic sciences in the whole world. It also not only teaches but also provides training to higher government officials. This college has made many inventions like the mobile forensic van which are used by the police officials during real crime scenes.
