Good campus and hostel

Overall Rating
Samrat Ashok Technological Institute Vidisha is one of the oldest institutes and the faculty members are good. According to my marks in JEE mains it's really good and I am fairly happy with it. Overall campus is good. It's beautiful and filled with greenery which is best for morning walks. The smart Utsav and Techno fest is conducted by the institute. There are various clubs such as FLUX, a dance club called Rudraksh, and a music club called Swar. NSS and Swar are really good.
 

Academics Rating
I really want to study Computer Science with some specialization in Block Chain and I am fairly happy with it. The curriculum is good. It completes all the syllabus of GATE in 4 years. Some faculties will put in a lot of effort for students while few of them might not. The exam is 3 hours and it’s enough.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members are really supportive, believe it or not, they understand what students are going through and they make sure to help us. If the student is good, then the bond with the teacher is also strong. Our Java teacher is the best and she makes the complex concepts so easy to understand, I am always thankful to her. Although there are some teachers who just complete the important parts, that is also really helpful so it's fine.
 

Placement Rating
From 7th semester onwards, students are eligible for campus placement. The companies which visited the institute include Yash Technologies, Razor pay, TCS and Infosys. Yash Technologies offered 6 LPA - 8 LPA, Razor pay offered 4 LPA - 5 LPA, TCS offered 4 LPA - 5 LPA, Infosys offered 7 LPA - 9 LPA. The institute tied up with TCS and the highest package was 20 LPA, and the average package is of 4 LPA - 5 LPA. The CGPA should be above 7.5 or 8 but it really depends on the companies’ criteria.
 

Hostel Rating
There are two hostels for boys which are really good. Two people share the same room. It costs Rs.30,000/- for a single year and it's affordable, meals are fairly fine according to price and students decide which food to make.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure is good. We have two gardens and really organized blocks. It's really flexible to go there and the computer labs are well-maintained and fully air-conditioned. All the classrooms are pre-installed with teaching aids which is really helpful. Some benches are broken which require urgent attention.
 

Campus Rating
The nightlife in the institute is overall good. Boys should come inside in the hostel around 8:00 PM for all year and for girls they should come inside the hostel around 7:00 PM (in 1st year) and 8:00 PM (in the remaining year). Students can roam around at night and it's fairly safe because only authorized people can come inside. We can go to various places after study hours to unwind such as Madhav Garden and some places to eat. There is gym inside the institute which is fine and there is a cafeteria which is really good, and library is filled with necessary books and it's so safe.

    The overall experience is not that bad. The facilities are kind and it's not that bad. They sometimes blame you for not stopping your batch mates for their wrongful doing.     Overall experience till now at Samrat Ashok Technological Institute has been okay-okay. I wasn't going to choose this Institute but it was a compulsion to get admission here. By the way overall faculty of the Institute is good but infrastructure isn't in good condition. There is lots of greenery in our campus and it's so good to walk around.     I chose this College as it’s in my hometown and if you want a govt. College or semi govt. college then it’s a good college for you. The lab classes are conducted on the regular basis.
