It’s been 6 months and till now it has been a great experience. It's totally different from JEE preparation. You get a lot of exposure which helps in your career growth. You also meet new people; some are good and there are possibilities that will make some really good friends. It will be a memorable journey, yet you will have to learn to deal with hectic academic life.

There are numerous courses offered. As many claim on Instagram that we can just study the night before the exam, and it doesn’t really matter if we don't. However, that's not the case. It's important to study in advance to achieve a decent CGPA. I recommended managing your time effectively to stay on top of your studies. While it can be hectic, especially for Batch B, with wise planning and effort, you can definitely aim for a CPGA of 10. It’s a bit difficult but completely achievable.

Professors are friendly. They were available if we needed any help and also made sure that our doubts were clear. They provided us notes after class which is very helpful during last minute preparation. The professors guide us a lot and also motivate us to study for the exams and not waste time on things which are not worthy for our career goals.

There is a Placement Cell, but I don’t know much about it as I am a fresher.

I'm currently a resident of a hostel, and I find it quite satisfactory. The facilities are well maintained, with cleaning services. Any maintenance issues are addressed promptly, and the food quality was great for the first month, though it has declined somewhat since then, but it is still good compared to what I've experienced in some paying guest accommodations. The hostel offers various facilities, including a gym, music room, visitor room, and a common area. Friends are welcome to visit throughout the day, and there's a guard's desk. The staff, including the caretaker and warden, is friendly.

I really appreciate the design of the lecture hall complex, and the main buildings are truly beautiful. The campus is well-equipped with libraries, a CSC center, and reading rooms in the hostels which provide the perfect environment for studying if you prefer not to study in your room with friends. The Student Activity Centre (SAC) offers a variety of games, along with meetings and practices for clubs like PFC, Ankahi, and others. Our institute also boasts Dogra Hall, where numerous sessions are held. There are so many events that it's impossible to attend them all but there are endless opportunities for anyone looking to excel in their chosen field.

The campus is small as compared to other IIT's but the buildings are good. Roads are good and you are always busy in the institute as you have many options to explore here. Communities held many competitions and it's interesting to interact with other people of your batch and also seniors. You spend good time with them. You will meet the best people of your life there who'll always help you, understand you and you can’t forget them.
