My experience at Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan College of Engineering

Overall Rating
Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan College of Engineering is on the border of Kerala and Tamil Nadu. Students from Kerala and Tamil Nadu take admission here. I am from Palakkad, Kerala so it is easy for me to travel and get there. The college provides transportation facilities for convenience to attend the lectures. I took admission here because I wanted to study Biomedical Engineering. I searched for so many colleges that offer this degree but I couldn’t find a good one so I decided to join this college.
 

Academics Rating
Biomedical is a new course that was started few years ago and only some of the colleges offer this degree and it is a medical related course so labs and equipment with modern equipment are provided by the college which makes our learning easier. You need to possess a minimum of 50% marks in PCB to get admission, if you have higher marks in your secondary examination, you will be assured scholarships and other fees reductions.
 

Faculty Rating
Better education needs better faculties. It has faculties with higher educational qualifications and our assistant professors have the Ph.D as well. They are well-trained and experienced so it will be easier for students to make their learning experience more understandable. The faculty makes sure that students don’t have any doubts regarding topics. The department HOD will provide all the help regarding any issues.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, we have a Placement Cell, the placement drives are conducted during frequent intervals of time. Students get additional required by the institute to get placed in a good company and get a better start for their career.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, we have a good hostel facility and the infrastructure is very good. Good food is served in the hostel and the best breakfast, lunch and dinner is cooked by a professional worker who has a great experience at cooking. The hostel has a Gym, outdoor & indoor games facilities for the students to get a relief from the academic stress. The security system is tight and no students can leave the hostel without permission.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The college is structured in two blocks. One block includes the office, library, admission cell, exam cell, office for the Dean, Principal cabin and also departments like Biomedical and Electronics and Communication. The electronics department is on the top floor and on each floor bathrooms and toilet facilities are provided there. On the second floor there are classrooms and labs for Computer Science students for the clean surroundings of the college. The housekeeping staff will work continuously to keep the college and surroundings clean.
 

Campus Rating
The best for activities other than academic activities are the major events like annual day, Pongal celebration and Onam celebration. The staff will provide all the support to the students to make the events very memorable. During the annual day celebration, a special guest will be there from the film industry or any other social media influencers. The Onam celebration and Pongal celebration is conducted on a massive scale.

    Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan College of Engineering is such an amazing college and has a good & positive atmosphere. There are a lot of experienced faculties here. It is a well-disciplined college, and no sort of ragging is entertained inside the campus. Well maintained laboratories and new equipment are available in the campus for us to get hands on learning experience.
