The university seems like a heaven

Overall Rating
Pondicherry University has a mesmerizing campus and the environment inside the campus is full of greenery. It feels like you are living in a tourist place, although the city itself is a tourist place. The night life in Pondicherry is something else. Here, there is literally no restriction about anything which is just amazing. One can use this freedom to enhance their skills and work towards their goal to achieve what they want. So overall it's a really beautiful with great campus life.
 

Academics Rating
The academics are really good, at the same time it depends on the course one chooses. So, I have opted for Geology here, so for that you have to give the CUET exam which consists of subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Math or Biology. The geology department is really good, and faculties are supportive. You can also prepare for competitive exams for this course.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties are well-educated. If I talk about my Earth Science department, the faculties are experienced and teach in a very good manner. They are supportive towards students and do not indulge in any partiality with any student. They try to give us theoretical as well as practical knowledge. They always try to give their best in terms of teaching.
 

Placement Rating
No, we don't have any placements. Most students prepare for competitive exams.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, we have good residential facilities and the people living nearby the university won't be able to get it. Overall, the facilities are really good. Daily, cleaners clean the washroom and maintain the cleanliness.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The academic blocks are under construction, but the overall structure of the building is good. Although, the roads should be improved.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is really awesome. The freedom you get here is not given anywhere else. The night life is awesome. You can visit the beach as many times as you want. The Beach is just near to the University. The Beach was certainly the most fascinating thing I found as someone who lived in North India.
