Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham B.Tech Review By Rohith V

Actually, I was not even ready to join B.Tech. Later my parents convinced to join B.Tech with Artificial Intelligence specialization in Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. I chose this university because there were very good reviews about this university. After completing 12th grade, I started preparing for JEE Main as well as AEEE (Amrita Engineering Entrance Exam). Later I was not able to get satisfactory score in JEE, which led me to prepare harder for this university’s entrance exam. Luckily, I was able to score well in this one. In addition to that, I also got scholarship. Therefore, I was very happy about it. After that, I came to this university and got introduced with good friends and my college life is going good.

As mentioned above, I took Artificial Intelligence and Data Science in Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. At the starting of the course, it was very good and it was very easy to study and cope up wither syllabus. After few weeks, the syllabus started to get harder.

When I first came to this university, I made different kind of perception regarding the teaching staff. Conversely, after some days when I visited them for doubts, they understood my queries and dealt with them pretty well as they explained everything in a detailed manner. I got to know that they are so friendly with the students. They try to maintain good relation with students. They also helped me in doing projects and assignments. The main thing is their teaching method, it is so simple and understandable. I actually appreciate their teaching technique and the way they explain each and every topic.

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham maintains the placement rate of about 80%. The placements are managed by CIR block. I went and enquired about the placements. It collaborates with multiple companies to place the students.

We have nice residential facilities in our university. It has reconstructed all the hostels and made them more luxurious and comfortable for all of us. In fact, hostel life is so good here. It is nice to be here. I got good friends here and enjoying my hostel life.

The infrastructure is the best part of this university. It is full of greenery and nature, feels so good. The university has 3 GYMs, 4 badminton courts, 2 big football grounds, 4 volleyball courts, 1-basketball courts, and 1 big swimming pool. It has more than 4 academic blocks and constructions are going on for blocks that are more academic. Each and every block has its own canteen. There are stores, saloons, and other facilities.

Overall, campus life is good. There are clubs like Raaga Sudha, Natya Sudha, etc. These clubs are for cultural activities. There are other clubs for academic purposes. Once in a year, a tech fest called ‘Anokha’ is also arranged. Not only this, for recreation purposes, many other fests are also conducted.
