My Life in Indian Institute of Information Technology, Guwahati

Overall Rating
Overall, the campus life is good. Both B.Tech and M.Tech are provided here. Indian Institute of Information Technology, Guwahati is near the airport. My overall experience is very good at the institute.
 

Academics Rating
I chose Computer Science & Engineering because it is most demanded course in our country right now. There are exams after every 2 months and it will be difficult to pass unless you study well. Academics are nice but course is tough.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty is good. Teachers are helpful for students. They have good knowledge about subject. All Teachers have good background, they came from reputed institutes. Faculty to student ratio is 1:20. The qualification of the faculty is to have Masters as well as PhD degree. All teachers are highly talented.
 

Placement Rating
In our campus, we have a placement cell. Microsoft, Amazon, etc. come to our campus drive. We want to do algorithms, projects and IOT, AI, etc. Placement cell is nice. It will provide all the support you need for placements. My overall rating is 9/10.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, we have hostel facilities. These accommodations are good. Every room has 2 fans, 2 beds, attached bathroom, 2 study tables, 2 chairs, etc. Hostel food is ok. We can adjust and daily we have different kind of non-veg items at dinner. Registration process is simple and we need the fill form provided by warden and fee of Rs. 12500 per semester. My overall rating is 8/10.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Indian Institute of Information Technology, Guwahati has very nice academic blocks and huge library. There are about 1000 books in our library. Every class has LED screen and Projector. It also has 1 town hall in which all-cultural fests happens. There is also a Student administrative Centre that has yoga room, shuttle court, Gym, and Dance hall. Big ground is there for students to us play cricket and football. Inside campus, we have beautiful lake. Infrastructure is very good. My overall rating is 7/10.
 

Campus Rating
Life is normal at this campus. ‘Yuvaan’ is an annual fest & ‘Entropy’ is the tech fest. Yuvaan will be held in March and Entropy will be held in November. We have well cultural of sports in our campus. There are many clubs in our institute. My overall rating is 8/10.

    Indian Institute of Information Technology, Guwahati is an institute of national importance. The computer science and engineering branch is considered to be a good option among others. Once you come to the institute, you will not regret any more. You will automatically engage in it. Faculties are just amazing. There are many coding competitions and extracurricular activities.     IIITG is an institute, which is in its developing stage, and at this point I think, has a lot of scope to improve. First things first and what the priority should be faculty. I think this institute has best faculty. They are helping in nature and teach perfectly (obviously, exceptions do exist).     IIITG is surrounded by mountains, giving lively scenery and a friendly weather (neither too hot nor not too cold). You can adjust just with a fan. I entered this college because of its placement statistics.... Read Full Review

    I have chosen this particular institute because the courses that are offered here are different than other colleges. The faculty is highly qualified and it is also a main reason. The placements in this college are good and this college is ranked in top 7 IIIT's. So I also suggest the students to join this college for their bright future and for enhancing the skills....
