Review on Asia's No.1 Commerce College - SRCC

Overall Rating
I am a second year student here pursuing B.Com Hons. and my experience here is very good. In this college you will get diversity, competitions that will push you ahead, different cultural activities, a lot of good connections and obviously a reputed and well qualified faculty to teach you. If you are in this college you get an upper hand over other tier 2 and 3 colleges. Also it is not no.1 on papers only but also in every sense it is no.1.
 

Academics Rating
For B.Com Hons. you don't need to put extra efforts if you come from a commerce stream as in CUET you can give papers of BST, Accounts, Economics and 1 language. This course is moderate to easy sometimes like if you will start studying 1 month before exams even then you can get 8-9 CGPA. Thus, this course allows us to indulge in other resume building activities and learning new skills.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty in our college is very well qualified and best in their fields. Also the way they teach is very understandable. Even if a person coming from a rural background then also he/she can understand the concepts clearly. Like I have seen other college’s classes - most of the time their classes gets cancelled by their professors but in SRCC it is very rare.
 

Placement Rating
We have a good placement cell that does his work very well. They help the students in getting internship and jobs. As in previous month they vetted the resumes of second year students for internship opportunities even they helped us in making correct resumes by telling us our mistakes in resume. They invite different Big Companies / MNCs for campus placements.
 

Hostel Rating
Our college has hostels for both girls and boys and both the hostels are very good in every sense - the food, the facilities, the infrastructure, the environment, etc. Hostel mess provides nutritional foods to students in very reasonable prices. Also the rooms of hostels are big enough for study tables and chair and other things.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Our campus is not that big but it is enough for the number of students studying there. The college also has a national level sports complex which is not in any other college in whole DU where the CEO of Google had given speech and many national sports events have been organised. Also the classes of SRCC are far better than any other colleges with centralized ACs.
 

Campus Rating
Our college is in the north campus of Delhi University where most of the crowd is student only. There are necessary facilities available in very short distance like metro station, markets, parks, lawns, etc. In our college there are many prestigious societies or clubs which give us a great exposure to learn many new things and explore different areas. Our college also organises very big events like crossroads, Business Conclave, and more where very well known personalities come and share their knowledge and very recreational activities are performed.
