Overall Rating
If you didn't score well in your JEE or WBJEE, then you can choose this college. Maybe it’s the best private college in Kolkata. Placement here is decent and the faculty members are average. The campus is big and many companies visit for placement although average package is not too much but as tier 3 college it’s a good option.
 

Academics Rating
If you have 45 % in your 12th, you can easily join this college. For CSE core and IT, AIML rank should be under 4500. In heritage you will have lots of courses but CSE is the best one. At least you can expect a 4-5 LPA package at the end of B.Tech. Many students here get a decent package.
 

Faculty Rating
If I talk about my branch IT, faculties are average, you have to prepare from outside. My suggestion is that don't choose IT branch in HITK, ECE faculties are too good, they will help you to do things outside things rather than focusing on just academics. Although CSE faculties are too good too. Some of them have done M.Tech from IIT.
 

Placement Rating
Decent placement. TCS is the father of heritage but although its tier 3 college. Big companies like Oracle, Cozeva, Tejas visit the campus. The average average package is quite good. Highest package is 16 LPA given by federal Bank and lots of other circuital companies visit our campus.
 

Hostel Rating
You will get only girls hostel. For boys you need to find a PG.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Campus is big. You will get a ground, but college will tell you that you will get 3 grounds. Although you will get access for only 1. You will be able to access other grounds on special occasions only like sports week and other events. Although college has ground but for B.Tech no fests are held from 2019. Its because of some issue.
 

Campus Rating
No fest, No technical fest is organized. Only surprise tests are conducted. In HITK, they will only give you pressure for attendance in 1st year otherwise they will not put any pressure on you expect IT department. The college has good hackthon culture. Recently 2 teams won SIH from heritage and this has happened every year.

    Overall the Institute is beautiful. The location of Institute is perfect with good campus area. I would recommend people to join this Institute. If you don’t get Jadavpur then this Institute should be your second choice. It was a good decision to join this Institute. Here people of same intellect are found with whom you can vibe.     I have spent 2 years in this institute and my overall experience is pretty good and decent. I think according to me this is one of the best private institutes in West Bengal and that's why after completing my 12th, I choose this institute to pursue my B.Tech degree in CSE and it needs quite a good rank in WBJEE as well.     It is one of the best private institutes currently in Kolkata. Students are pursuing various degrees making network with students. Teachers are nice and supportive.
