Khalsa College is one of the most reputed Colleges in Punjab and the name is known all over India. Almost every course is available here and the faculty is experienced and of helping nature. College organizes frequent events such as Youth Festivals, Heritage Book Fair, Cultural Fairs and other social events. College also organizes many guest lectures on different topics to educate students about different things like, communication, mental health, physical health and digitalization. There are libraries in each department offering students a wide range of books to study. The architecture of the college is world famous. There is a lot of greenery in college and it encourages students to preserve and love nature.

Bachelor's of Arts is best course for students like me who do not want to focus on one particular field and want to have many options open to them. My subjects are Psychology, Elective English and Computer Science. I have sufficient knowledge and practical experience that I can study further in any one of these fields. There are no such entry requirements for this course. All a student needs is their previous academic documents.

Faculty at this college is very experienced and knowledgeable. Their teaching methods are very easy to understand. Many teachers especially of Psychology department go out of their way to help students, they focus on the practical aspects of study and help students get ready for the real world. All the teachers are highly educated and experienced. Teachers here encourage students to participate in organizing lectures and academic events.

Khalsa College provides students with residential facilities. There are different variants of hostels, students can get according to their budget. Students can get rooms in sharing (2, 3 ,4). Food is provided in the mess. Food quality is average and most students prefer eating outside. Hostel gates close around 9pm and students are not allowed to exit after that. Rooms are average. Air conditioning is not available in summers.

Khalsa College is known for its infrastructure. Class rooms are huge which are cool in summers. Most rooms can seat around 100 students. Labs are available for practical work which students can access anytime. Campus is beautiful to walk around. The main library holds all kinds of books of different genres. And each department has its own library. Canteens and cafeterias are built near each department offering students refreshments. Restrooms are built for males and females but are not hygienic and are very dirty. Paid parking for two wheelers is available but students are not allowed to bring their cars inside the campus. Students have to park outside the College gates.

Campus life is average. College is mostly not that lively. But during events and fairs the vibe is amazing. Students can socialize during fairs and festivals. What I don't like about the college is that they have guards patrolling the campus who don't allow students to hangout outside the classrooms and can be very rude sometimes. Sports events are organized every year and students are encouraged to participate.
