JIMS Engineering Management Technical Campus B.Tech Review By Anwesha Sen

I'm a 2nd year student of B.Tech department and my experience till now is quite good. The campus is well-equipped with latest infrastructure, including smart classroom, new computer labs in each floor, well-stacked library with the latest edition books and facilities for other extracurricular activities. It has a good environment as well as the faculties are expertise in their field of study and industrial level too. They conduct Regular or monthly Guest lecturers to guide us, Alumni meet both offline and online mode, workshops from industrial organizations, provide internships with real-life exposure and industrial visit. The college also emphasize on other extracurricular activities like fest, dance competiton, painting competition, sports meet and all. They have cultural societies,"NAVRAS" as well as technical society "HASHTAG" which conducts monthly events and annual grand events in each semester. Jims conducts their own fest called "ZEST" which includes JIMS groups. Overall, Jims Greater Noida could be a good choice if you are looking for a place where education and fun are taken in equal amount with equal attention as it focus on both academic side and other extracurricular side.

The institute offers program like bachelor's in technology, Management, Business Administration, commerce, Law, Mass Communication etc. It follows the updated syllabus and curriculum with the latest trends and technologies. Faculties are both academically as well as industrially trained. They provide us all the study materials as well as help us with the doubts and projects like hackathons and all. They give proper guidance and real-life based situation problems which help to tackle the real -time work problems. Assignments and previous year question papers are also provided by them or can be issued from the library. Workshops, seminars, guest lecture are conducted by industry experts with their experience and also industrial visits. Aside from the course, soft skills training programs are available from 1st year onwards. It can provide students with a strong foundation for the career.

Faculty is both academically as well as industrially trained. They provide us all the study materials like notes, previous year question, assignments and all. They help us with the doubts and projects like hackathons and all. They will all help us to how to tackle with the questions and how to solve it efficiently. They provide us with theoretical as well as practical knowledge by conducting labs.

Yes, we have a placement cell which helps the 2nd yr and 3rd year students to get their internship and also help the final year students to get a job. They bring companies like Decathlon, TCS, Wipro, EY, etc.

We have hostel facilities for both boys and girls in the campus. High security with good maintenance is provided in both the residential place. Infrastructure is lively and the good is made keeping in mind of hygiene.

It offers a well-maintained infrastructure. The campus consist of 6 different building with each of different department, a basketball court, badminton court, volleyball court, open amphitheatre, auditorium and two lawns in front of the building. There is a parking space for 2-wheeler vehicles. Bus facilities are available for those who come from Delhi and are punctual with time. Hostels are in-campus with high security maintenance and good hygiene with the area, food and other facilities. A canteen and a Nescafe cafeteria are available inside the campus.

Overall, the environment is decent and well-maintained. Clubs and societies are there for both cultural activities and technical activities. Events are organised by both the societies in regular basis and attendance is provided according to the participations. Fresher's party and farewells are also conducted by the campus. JIMS organise their own fest called "ZEST" on annual basis and other festive events are conducted. Sports Meet with different other college participating are also conducted here.
