I could not perform so well in JEE. Though, I had decent rank so I got admission in MMMUT. As my father is a civil engineer so I chose same to pursue. I was obviously disappointed with my JEE performance but I was surprised with the teachings of professional there. Though in first year, most of the teachers are guest faculty but from second year, you will be only taught by professors and I guarantee you they are best. Practical are performed with so much accuracy and you will be performing them with so much interest because teachers are best. Though the problem in the institution is that you cannot roam so freely in the campus casually.

Like other colleges, here also IT branches and core branches are there. But mainly students of core branches perform better in academics as well as other extracurricular activities. Even, every year gold medalist of the college is from core branch. More specifying from civil branch. Actually the college has better faculties / professors for core branches. For admission in MMMUT, you require your Intermediate mark sheet, drop year certificate (if taken), caste certificate (if not general), JEE result, Adhar card, and Nivas pramad patra. Talking about rank in JEE (General): For CSE- within 40k For IT- within 60k, for ECE- within 75k, for EE- within 90k and For ME- within 1.1 lakh.

As I already mentioned after first year you will be taught only by professors who are so good. Like I am in fourth semester and from third semester onwards my professors are so good. Almost all of them are either from IITs or from foreign. Personally I would say civil engineer faculty is so good. But yes, getting a good CGPA will be a little tough in core branches due to strict checking of answer sheets. Though you will be taught very nicely.

Yes, companies do come but in limited numbers. But yes, core branches' placement is comparatively far better compared to other state level colleges. L&T, Accenture and other companies like them take a good number of students.

Though for girls, their first year hostel is quite good. Even boys call it five-star hostel. But later even for girls, hostels are not up to the mark. They are made and repaired decades before. Hostel food is average though.

Infrastructure is good actually comparing to other state level colleges. Like the area of the college is 350 acres. Though most of the college has forest and greenery but you will like it. There are so many grounds where students sit in winters. Library is large and has a good number of good books available there besides course books. New departments like CS and IT are better than old ones of core branches. There is good stadium for sports that students call CSA. All sports courts are present here.

All depends on your friends actually. There are so many clubs like dance, music, fine arts, technical, drone, robotics, web developer and others. There is also an official board is The Editorial Board, but getting inducted in this is tough. 'Abhyudaya' is an annual, art and literary fest of the college of three days which is considered to be the biggest fest in north east.
