In-depth review on PSG College of Technology

Overall Rating
I chose the integrated M.Sc. program in PSG College of Technology which is for 5 years, and it is very good. I chose this course because it has 1 year of internship programs at different companies. The hostels are neatly maintained, and you might see a lot of south India. The faculty is amazing and the boys and girls ratio is also almost equal, the labs and cafeteria is amazing. I am very happy to join into this college.
 

Academics Rating
The academics part is the most interesting as it contains a very vast syllabus which is relevant to the present day and gets updated every year. The exam process is also very good. They have 2 mid exams such as CA 1 and CA 2 which contain both lab and theory exams. Semester exams which are conducted at the end of the semester which also has theory and lab syllabus. Overall, the academics are quite good.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty is very good here, they have at least 3 to 4 faculties for one subject and the teaching is top-notch with personal assistance provided as well. They take very good care of each student which includes assignments and tutorials to help students improve their grades in a very drastic way. Although, Tamil is the mode of the language it would be better if it was in English.
 

Placement Rating
We do have placements, but they are in the 7th semester, so you have to work on yourself to appear for placements. Many MNCs such as Google, Microsoft, IBM visit our campus.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostel facility is available for both boys and girls with good facilities
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus has nearly 15 blocks for all departments ranging from polytechnic electrical engineering, master department and it also has canteen, washroom for both gender and for each block and each floor, our college also has very old buildings to new and modern. The college overall has strong infrastructure compared to any other colleges in Coimbatore, and it is well-known for the same.
 

Campus Rating
Overall campus life is really good. The college is surrounded by PSG hospital, PSG Sarvajana school and PSG institute of management, PSG tech and charity related institutions. The crowd is also good which adds vibrancy to the college, clubs are very good, ranging variety of subjects and fest also happens like 2 to 3 fest per year and a lot of other engagements activities.

    PSG College of Technology is one of the top engineering institutes in India. It holds an ISO 9001:2015 certification. Various courses offered by the institution are accredited by NBA. The institution also has several MoUs with Foreign Universities, Industries and Research Labs.
