Life at KIET

Overall Rating
This is a good institute. Personally, I like it very much. It has good reputation with good placement records so I chose to take admission in this institute. Recently, SIH Hackathon's grand finale was held. Even so, having 75 % attendance per subject is essential.
 

Academics Rating
My institute is autonomous. This is the reason why we learn only important subject like PPS, IoT, etc. all the unimportant subject are removed from syllabus.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties are very qualified and some of the faulty have done M.Tech from IIIT or IIT. They have a good teaching skill.
 

Placement Rating
In my course, more than 80% students are placed in good companies with a decent package. In 2024, the highest package of this year is 40 LPA, lowest was 4 LPA, and average was 6-7 LPA. Top recruiting course panties are TCS , Infosys,etc.
 

Hostel Rating
Sorry, I did not take hostel.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The facilities and infrastructure available for Computer Science students are very good. They provide us more than 10 computer labs in a single block. There is a Wi-Fi in all the blocks.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life of KIET Group of Institutions is very good. I enjoy very much. In winters, all the day scholars go to ground and relax after the lectures. Students are also motivated to take part in Hackathons and other competitions that help to increase student’s logical thinking, creativity, and technical analysis which are quite useful during the time of placements and further future. In KIET Group of Institutions, 3-5 events are held per week.

    So, I choose this institute because it's an autonomous institute and is good if compared to other institutes affiliated with AKTU.     I have completed approximately 3 months in this institution, and I am glad that I chose a good institution. According to my rank in the JEE Mains, this institution was the best option as the fee structure was also favorable. As this institution is Autonomous, the curriculum has improved significantly, and industry-based education is now more focused. Based on this, aspirants can definitely opt for this institute....     Currently, I’m in the first year of my college. My overall experience in KIET till now has been decent. The campus size is small with about 18 acres. But the facilities provided here are quite satisfactory, whether it comes to the hostels, campus facilities, infrastructure, cleanliness etc. all are up to the mark. Talking about academics, like many other institutions the academic life is hectic starting from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the evening. Co curricular and cultural activities are held often....     My overall experience at the college campus is good. My seniors are really helpful and the connection that one can make here is really broad. The academic curriculum is a bit old and tough but the faculty tends to teach with new modern tech. The campus life is fun and has everything one can ask for in a B.Tech college.
