My Life in VIT-AP University

Overall Rating
I am really having a nice time in this university. I opted for this university because in India, VIT is one of the best universities to pursue B.Tech degree.
 

Academics Rating
I gave VITEEE entrance exam, which is conducted all over the country every year. I got seat in B.Tech in Computer Science in specialization with Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. To be allotted in this university, you need a minimum of 60% in boards in PCM/PCB.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculties are good and professionals. Many of them are Ph.D holders from institutions like IIT, NIT, etc. They are in this university for years, teaching batch by batch. They projectors in every class to teach using PPT presentation, which is very good way to teach.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, VIT-AP University has placement cell. However, as I am a fresher I do not have any idea about its working and quality.
 

Hostel Rating
The hostel is good and clean. They have 24/7 services for any problems.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus of VIT-AP University is very big. It has 3 academic buildings, 6 hostels for males and 4 hostels for females. It has 2 large full sized playgrounds for football, cricket, and kabaddi. 3 volleyball courts, 2 basketball courts, 3 nets for cricket practice and also a full sized tennis court. Not only this, for indoor it has 8 badminton courts, 2 table tennis courts, etc. It also has a large food court near the playground. In lab, university provides all the necessary equipment for doing lab experiments.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life is one of the best. The university frequently organizes events like dance show, traditional shows, singing shows, etc. it also organize DJ night, movie nights, etc. For tech, it organizes hackathons, eSport tournaments, etc. The university has hundreds of different clubs for enhancing one's skills and ideas. The University organizes 2 main fests each year, 1st sports fest named as VITOPIA and 2nd tech fest named VITECH.

    Overall Rating
    Our university has average infrastructure. The professors are very intelligent, and the university offers better campus placements. The timetable is flexible, and we can choose our professor and set our timetable. This made me choose VIT over other universities. If we talk about infrastructure, then the classrooms are also nice. There are breaks in between the classes for students to relax. The only disadvantage is the distance between the classrooms which makes us walk for a while.... Read Full Review

  • This is my honest review about VIT AP University
     

    Overall Rating
    This is a good University with average package 11 LPA for CSE students and overall package 9 LPA. Here we can find so many different language speaking people where we have to team up and do the project and assignments given by the faculty together. This improves our social skills. We can also learn different languages here. We can enjoy with friends and have a good time. There is more exposure in VIT AP and that's the reason why I chose this University.... Read Full Review

    I was aiming for some high-mid level NIT’s in my 12th during my JEE preparation. But my JEE result was not that good. I only secured 89 percentage and couldn't get any NIT’s.     VIT AP University is an emerging private university in India and in AP as well, with good placement opportunities, facilities, and faculty. This university has a few things that are not inculcated into other private or government funded universities.   • Good College as a Backup option to top tier universities.

    The education here is really good and competes with other top tier colleges. Computer Science is a really good option to choose this college for. There are multiple opportunities related to computer science. Studies are very good and the courses offered are also flexible. Students also have the option to design their own degree, i.e., They can choose the courses they want to study at their own flexible timetable with a faculty of their interest and at a slot they wish.
