Graphic era university, located in Dehradun is a great university for engineering and technical programs like B.Tech and BCA. I am currently a BCA student and am quite satisfied with the infrastructure, faculty and as well as the opportunities provided to the students by the university. It has high tech labs and quality teaching faculty and a huge array of resources for students’ convenience. The campus life is so happening and colorful just the way a student dream of.

As a BCA student I will tell you the entry requirements for my course. To qualify for admissions in GEU BCA program, you are required to have a minimum of aggregate marks of 60% in your 12th exams (any board, any Stream). To be eligible for direct admissions you are required to have mathematics as a subject in your 12th. However, if you are not from a math background then the university will offer bridge courses for Mathematics in the 1st year which helps you to catch up on the math topics which you missed in high school. This course is for people who enjoy coding and want to develop technical skills.

Well, I would say that the faculties are good. The faculty here is no doubt very educated and holds great degrees in their own subject. Especially the math faculty here is super skilled and serious about what they teach and the manner they teach in. Lab assistance is assigned by the assistant professors, who are young and have a clear knowledge about the emerging skills and trends.

When it comes to the infrastructure of the university, Graphic Era boasts a huge campus with separate blocks for each course, like CSIT Block for BCA program, B.Tech Block, Chanakya Block for Management programs, Civil Block, etc. Apart from numerous blocks, the campus has numerous shops selling food, beverages, snacks and other basic items apart from 3 Canteens, a gym and sports courts. The ground is good for sports activities, a badminton court, a cricket pitch and a basketball court.

As a Graphian, there is never a dull day here in GEU, since the very first day I came here, something is always happening around the campus whether it's club activities, sports tournament, fest, festival celebration and much more. Graphic era University has a club for nearly every interest like debating, charity, dance, music, tech, startups and any other thing you can imagine. I myself am a part of the debating society of the university and have witnessed so many events recently. NCC and NSS are also there and recently we organized movie nights, human ludo, Jumanjis and various other events. A student at GEU is never bored.
