Overall Rating
The fee of this of college is high. But there is no ragging at all. KIIT is a vehicle free campus it means no one is allowed to keep vehicle. Overall placement is average.
 

Academics Rating
This college doesn't follow any relative CGPA system. It follows grade system so scoring marks is easy. It will make easy to create a good CGPA for both on and off campus. Entry requirements are you must have 60 percent marks in your higher secondary examination and moreover the specific documents like Transfer certificate, character certificate, mark sheet, etc. If your motive is to study good engineering you can come here.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties are highly qualified; they are always ready to help both in theoretical and practical subjects except few teachers. Scoring good CGPA is easier here due to grading system. During exam time extra classes are also held here. If anyone have motive of studying engineering properly I think it is one of the best place. All theoretical subjects will be taught on smart board.
 

Placement Rating
Average package of the college is 6-8 LPA. Highest package varies every year and it mostly comes from off campus. Last year it was 50 LPA. Due to grade system it is easier to get good CGPA which will have a good impact on the recruiters. Also there is a placement training group were they select 200 students each year from all the B.Tech 4th year to train them how to get placed.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostel restrictions is not the only worst thing of this college moreover the huge fines of hostel. Hostel food is not up to the mark. They have huge number of students in KP 7. Also there are not many hostel games.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Academic blocks are AC facilitated with smart board. All rooms are clean, having lights and fans. Benches may be less in some room. But there is no chance of suffocation in room. The infrastructure having good scenery of trees and gardens. The campuses are unable to manage the whole crowd in terms of providing Electric vehicle services for travelling to campus and campus lift is also unable to manage the crowd in any one of the building.
 

Campus Rating
1st year students are not allowed to participate in many things. Moreover first year will be in KP 7 and there is huge crowd. You are also not allowed to go for beaches and seas by hostel authority. Hostel has too much restriction on co- curricular activities. Food court is canteen of campus which is also expensive. Due to huge crowd there is less chance of getting selected in any club. The overall campus life here is not that great.

    I joined Kalinga institute this year in Bachelor of Technology program in Computer Engineering. It has been more than 3 months of experiencing college life, and I would gladly want to tell you that it has one of the best campuses among other institutes of India.     The teachers and all other staffs are student friendly. Classroom is full clean and equipped with AC and smart board with Wi-Fi and white boards. It is furnished every day.     Overall, the institute is good. I am here for 6 months and everything looks quite great in KIIT in terms of academic, sports, curriculum, etc. It is better for those students who want to explore different things in life and do something apart from the rat race.... Read Full Review

    I am in first year of B.Tech CSE in KIIT School of Computer Engineering. Overall, the ambience is very open and refreshing. The campus is an open campus and people can go in and out of the college whenever they want. The campus being extremely large (6000 acres) makes it never ending for exploring.
