Best for medical CNMC

Overall Rating
Hello! I’m a 2nd year MBBS student of CALCUTTA NATIONAL MEDICAL COLLEGE AND HOSPITAL. I got admission in this college after cracking NEET and therefore counseling. The college ground is quite big and the atmosphere is very good for students. The location is very good for all students. Transportation facilities and all other things are also available 24x7 as it’s at Park Circus central Kolkata.
 

Academics Rating
One has to score good marks in NEET exam to get admission in this college. There are total 9 semester and 4 professional exams. For each exam one have to pay 4500 (including tuition fees). Also there is one time admission fees of 1000, caution fees 1000, registration fees of 3000. It’s good that there are some kind of scholarship and financial aids available. Stipend internship and Scholarships like SVMCM and Oasis are much popular here. Minimum 60 percent marks will be required for applying for SVMCM and Oasis. This is not for general category.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculties are very much helpful and knowledgeable. They teach every topic thoroughly and tell us to ask questions as much as we need to know for better understanding. They provide suggestions and take tests on every topic. They are always available for students. We can contact them to solve our concern. Our respectable faculties care about every single student. But some of them do not quite understand. Overall student faculty relationship is good here.
 

Placement Rating
Internship facility is available in our college
 

Hostel Rating
Hostel life is quite good. But therefore food and washrooms are not very hygienic. The atmosphere is good for study.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The college campus is quite big. The air conditioned classrooms, reading rooms, lecture halls are very much suitable to study better. 2 parks are also there inside campus where recreational activities are organized. College canteen is open for all. But the lack of good hygienic washrooms causes problems.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is very much cheerful in my collage. Besides study here various fests programs are held. Firstly I have tell you about AGON (the biggest med fest of eastern India) held around September-October. It really is a crazy experience for all os us. I’m really glad to be a part of this event. Other fest like UDDALOK, Holi, Saraswati puja and reunion ceremony are also held here. Many sports activities like badminton tournaments, cricket, football matches are organized by us.
