Overall Rating
The campus is surrounded with mountains and greenery that includes both trees and plants. There are devotional statues in front of each academic block. During winter this college has the best scenery. The clouds come so down. I chose this college for its beautiful view and its placements. I strongly recommend this college for people who want to experience best in their academics and achieve good placements and achieve Best in their life.
 

Academics Rating
The course I’m studying is CSE-AI, you should write AEEE entrance exam and get a good rank probably below 3000 to get in CSE -AI department. There is one more way and that’s through non-scholarship where you should have above 85 percentage in board exam. My motive was to get a CSE department course in one of the top Institutes and I got this Institute.
 

Faculty Rating
Here the faculties are well experienced and most of them are friendly and will help you in all ways to master this course. There are many teachers who studied here and are working here which shows how good the experience was when they studied here. In our department they take classes using smart boards. You get their pdf notes and practical part is done during the class.
 

Placement Rating
There is a separate department for coordinating placements in our college. This department is the best to bring good placements for all students and they help a lot to face the interviews and other necessary things for placements. If you have a CGPA above 7.5 then you can sit in all placements and the placements you get depends on your skills.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, there are residential facilities in our Institute. The first year hostels are well furnished, spacious, and are equipped with study table, study lamp for each one and good speed Wi-Fi connection. The bathrooms are cleaned daily and are neat. You get hot water up to 9 am in the morning. There is drinking water supply for each block and each floor. The wardens are friendly but you should be disciplined and shouldn’t do unwanted things.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There are four academic blocks in this campus, each block separated for set of departments. For my department the academic block is AB-4. The academic blocks are aesthetic and have beautiful structures. Each academic block is huge with all faculties. There are bus faculties for people who have to walk long to their respective academic blocks. There are three canteens in campus and chicken, fish and egg are available in two of the canteens. There is decent food in canteens.
 

Campus Rating
This college has more population as it is one of the top Institutes in India and it has huge crowd for CSE and AI department. There are more mallu students but lesser than Tamil students. There are more Telugu students too. There is one huge event known as ANOKHA other than that there are no feats organized. There are celebrations for every festival but don’t expect many fests. There are every type of club for people who are interested in extra-curricular activities.

Highest salary package at Amrita vishwa vidyapeetham is 35,00,000 and lowest is 32,000. I mainly came to this college because of the placements and internships they provide.     Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore is a beautiful green campus located in Ettimadai, around 20 KM from the city of Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu.
