Holistic Approach: My Journey with MITWPU, Pune

Overall Rating
I have been studying at MITWPU since 2021 and in my 4 years of academic journey, I consider this one of the best universities. It is the best for any degree you are opting for, be it B.Tech, M.Tech, Diploma, Business Management or even Pharmacy. MITWPU has a wide range of courses. The cut-offs during the admission process are not too much so getting admission is not hard. Also, the campus infrastructure is worth it, and the social life is good. The course gives a broad idea. So, I would recommend it.
 

Academics Rating
From the academic point of view MITWPU, the entry requirements is that the student should pass 12th HSC or qualifying some competitive exams like JEE / MHT-CET for UG degree and you can opt for MITWPU written examination as well. The minimum eligibility cutoffs are 79% in JEE and MHTCET with that HSC scores are also considered for UG and it’s the same for other courses too.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members at MITWPU are the best, many professors are working for 20+ years in MITWPU and they hold Ph.D degrees as well and in B.Tech Electronics and Communication Engineering we have professors from IIT Bombay who are retired but still in MITWPU. The teaching style is very friendly via PPTs which helps in bullet form preparation, and they provide question banks before exams for better score.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, MITWPU has a Placement Cell called the CDC Team in the Chanyaka Building. Their complete training of students and from basic to advanced level is taught for best placement interview rounds. I received placement offers from companies with an average package of 4.5 LPA. MNC companies come for the rounds from mainly Mumbai and Pune.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, MITWPU has hostel facilities for boys and girls. Girls hostels are near to the universities at a distance of 500 meters and boys hotels are a little far, around 900 meters approximately but the hostel food and the mess food is the best and hygienically made. There are hardly any complaints about food. A washing facility is also provided. Security is maintained properly.
 

Infrastructure Rating
MITWPU is known for its infrastructure and I think many of you might have seen photos of it many times, so yes the campus is broadly distributed into academic areas and library and canteen blocks are different. The structure is a bit similar to Italian architecture with a dome called the highest dome. The environment is really nice regardless of what season is going on.
 

Campus Rating
MITWPU has many clubs and in Pune it’s the only university with the highest number of clubs like technical clubs, Cultural clubs, Hackathons, etc. Clubs Luke Aarohan is famous for dance and music the whole Pune is in MITWPU only. Also, every year 4-5 times fests are organized from business startups to concerts and live shows of musicians, so it’s fantastic to get a break from studies sometimes.

    The University is really good and some of the teachers are helpful. They can help you in publishing your own research papers if you're interested. The clubs here are endless.
