LSR was like a Tarkovsky film where one is supposed to understand it, but after spending three hours, you will still want something more from that film. Here it was three years, and I still wanted more of it. No tricks can be missed at LSR because it is best for a reason. LSR has become a European School of learning as some of the strangest things in life can happen here. Strange as in good strange things because LSR is unpredictable. The girls who were supposed to top were at the bottom of the ladder, while the ones who never opened their mouths were killed in intense debates. Education did squeeze us further because when my parents said that study as hard as you can in 12th and then you can enjoy. I wish they knew that real studies start once you enter DU at LSR one can get trapped if they stay introverted, so what LSR has done to me has made me confident to walk in front of a large crowd and speak whatever I feel.

Academics here are highly effective as the best teachers have brought to the board. Even though they were one of the brightest faculties, they gave us space to do things beyond academics. The classes, though, did not commence as scheduled, and everything was moved forward to backend. However, it was LSR who could deliver at the backend because many DU Colleges even though reputed leave it on students to study on their own; but LSR was different from them. Not attending classes will result in missed opportunities as assessing the quantum of what we have to study could only be learnt inside the classrooms of LSR.

B. Com (Hons) which is indeed the best department of the College is best because of the strong faculty that it has. They did struggle to manage girls who turned away from classrooms as students who are part of College societies do get a fair amount of leeway in attendance. The faculty here feasted on students by providing a hell lot of assignments and giving us tasks of informing the girls who were not attending the classes for so-called reasons. So, the feast given by them was spicier than I could think of. The faculties here were more skilled in teaching than any of the DU Colleges.

LSR has always maintained its stance in not providing the campus placements but free coaching for Master's classes too. Many companies that needed accountants came to the campus and hired many girls who thought they were done with their studies. I always wanted to continue because placements of 20-25k after studying from the best women's College in India wouldn't have let me boast my academic credentials. So, for those who wanted placements, genuinely were provided placements from LSR.

During our time, LSR hostel was available only for the 1st year students. It has changed now as one can continue till the second year too. The rooms were spacious but didn't have ACs. In Delhi, to survive without ACs is like asking for a banana tree in the desert. The hostels were cheaper and so the demand for the hostel always remained on top. The hostel had tight security and no one could step out beyond the curfew hours. The food provided was as delicious as the restaurants of Hauz Khas Village. So, for outsider's hostels should be the priority because one year of hostel life at LSR can teach a hell lot of things.

LSR isn't that stretched out as the entire campus is in a 5 acres area. For hangouts there were Gazebos, and two cafes including the Nescafe bar. For students who wanted to devote the most time to studies, the College had a decent library. For the students who wanted to practice for their events, the open auditorium remained open for them till evening. So, the infrastructure, even though it isn't the largest, had enough to make sure that we could manage everything inside the campus.

Interpersonal skills could be polished overwhelmingly at LSR. One needs to be open to joining at least a single society of her choice. The College annual fest TARANG, which is seen by students of almost every College in Delhi, was the craziest part of LSR campus life. One thing that does happen at the LSR campus is women can learn how to dominate a male-oriented society.
