Overall Rating
This is an excellent Institute, good facilities and 100% placement. Institute has a ship in campus which help students to study machinery easily. The Institute has good infrastructure and it is the only Institute in India that has state government approval. The Institute has friends, faculties that help students with their doubts without any fear. The Institute has good hostel facility too.
 

Academics Rating
The Institute provides a good academic session to cadets and the core subjects were handled by chief engineers so the cadets have double opportunity to clarify their doubts. The eligibility criterion for entering the Institute is by CUSAT CET exam or IMU CET exam. You have to score maximum 60% in English and 60% score in PCM in your 10+2 level.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members in KMSME, CUSAT is very friendly and they maintain a good teacher student relation throughout the program. The faculty members actively participate in arts and cultural programs. The Institute also ask the chief engineers to facilitate students. Their teaching style is good and their English is very fluent. The teachers help cadets to improve their quality of speaking.
 

Placement Rating
The Institute provides 100% placement for the cadets who have fully finished their course without any backlogs.
 

Hostel Rating
The hostel is situated in the same compound where the students feel good.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure of the Institute is strong and the ship in campus provided has so many machineries that are inside the ship. During semester 7 the cadets are directed to study the machinery. The main entrance of the Institute contains a steering gear. The first year coming will rotate the steering gear and then they will start studying.
 

Campus Rating
Campus has good facilities. It contains a car poach, 2 workshops, 1 overhauling workshop and 8 classrooms. Totally 300 student can admit in one academic year. To cover 4 year, the cadets have to pay 12 lakh. The Institute conducts Onam, Christmas, Diwali celebrations and also a grand passing out celebration contains teachers and students dance. The Institute has an event named ‘Propulzo’ which is grand celebration.

It was established in 2006 and pass out cadets are sailing in various kinds of vessels around the world. It's a good place for studying in a well experienced group of faculty in maritime industries.     This Institute was a merchant Navy Institute in which you can study Marine Engineering. The Institute is under Cochin University of Science and Technology CUSAT. The Institute was approved by DG shipping and other some other approvals. The Institute provides 4 year B.Tech in Marine Engineering program.     The faculty and facilities available here are good and are suitable for providing proper education. The infrastructure and other facilities are also good here. My personal reason for choosing this institute was due to the location, facilities and placements. For other things, I have to say it provides a wide opportunity and helps students to grow in life.     Overall Rating
    Kunjali Marakkar School of Marine Engineering offers a good educational environment. It has ship in campus, which helps students to learn about ships in way that is more practical. I chose this course because of its placement services and a high salary. I chose this institute because it is the nearest institute for me that provide B.Tech in marine engineering. I will not recommend students who live on the northern side of India to come here, as the environment will not be good for them.... Read Full Review

    This Institution is very good. The teacher and every non teaching staff is very friendly and helpful. No matter what the reason is they will stay with you for everything. This course is also good. 100% placement. So if you are looking for high paid jobs then this course is the best but as high paying sounds cool it comes with responsibilities and great mental health.... Read Full Review
