All About Graphic Era University

Overall Rating
Graphic Era deemed to be University is ranked among top 50 universities of India. The infrastructure of the campus is very mesmerizing and is surrounded by greenery. There are many events held in this university, be it be related to tech or may be related to culture or fest. Its way of promoting hackathons through club activities is the best part is one of my favorite things. However, it may not be the best but it gives its best. Now it is upon the students, whether to push himself or herself and grab the opportunity or just become lost.
 

Academics Rating
There are no such eligibility criteria. However, the student at least must be passed in 10+2. Students who have appeared in JEE will get the scholarship of 40%. However, this is only for 1st year students. From 2nd year, it will totally depend upon your hard work and academic performance.
 

Faculty Rating
Personally speaking, I found faculties here are supportive except few. They will always guide you what to do what to not do, where to rely upon where to not, how much to focus on academics for good placement and how focused you have to be in order to get a good placement. There are faculties who have been qualified from IIT's and ISC's. In addition, many others are PhD holders.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, we have placement cell in our university. A separate placement department is given to few facilities whose overall duty is to develop the student’s soft skills from 1st year onwards. Though it may seems boring in 1st semester because it merely teaches grammar and other stuffs but it is actually very helpful that is what I realized.
 

Hostel Rating
There are 4 inside campus hostels 3 for girls and 1 for boys. Many hostels are outside the campus at the range of 1 KM only. Overall, if you would ask me to rate my hostel I would give it 3 out of 5. Frankly speaking hostel is not so bad. We have rooms in 3 sharing with AC and non-AC options. Hostel life is good enough. There are many parties like Diwali party, Navratri party, new year party, etc. for hostlers. Room is quite spacious with separate beds side table almirah and separate study table. Lady guards are so sweet and always on duty.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The most important thing I loved about this campus is its infrastructure. There is Greenery everywhere with different kind of flowers and fountains, which gives a pleasant vibe. Inside campus, there are many. Each block has multiple workshops and classrooms. Labs are also very well equipped.
 

Campus Rating
Overall campus life is amazing. However, obviously there is crowd. There are many clubs such as tech club like IEEE and Graphic Geeks. Art and craft club like paper, tech cultural club like swaragini, theater club like rang manch, and many other. On the daily basis, workshops are conducted on different topics. ‘Grafest’ is one of the famous fest of Dehradun held in graphic, which is a major attraction.

    So Graphic Era University is situated in Dehradun. It has 4 campuses which offer several courses to students for graduation. I am a B.Tech student in Graphic Era University and have taken admission in 2024 and this is my first semester here and I enjoyed this college very much. The campus is too beautiful and awesome.     Graphic era university, located in Dehradun is a great university for engineering and technical programs like B.Tech and BCA. I am currently a BCA student and am quite satisfied with the infrastructure, faculty and as well as the opportunities provided to the students by the university. There is so much greenery and variety of flowers are seen as it is situated in Dehradun also called City Of Love. The placements here are quite good.     My yet experience of the college has been very nice. The college is very good it has good infrastructure with greenery all around the campus which makes you feel relaxed, stress free and active.
