Insights of JIIT, Noida

Overall Rating
Overall experience at this institute was memorable and full of thrills. From fests to club activities to competition as well as placement opportunities, the institute is able to provide each aspect up to the mark. JIIT is a well-reputed institute with a good ambience and provides useful knowledge about the Commercial sector. The faculties are helpful and the teachers are well educated to teach.
 

Academics Rating
The course provided by the institute has all of the relevant subjects that are helpful in the commercial sector. Based on the grades scored in 10th and 12th boards, I was able to get admission. There are interviews and entrance exams for other courses provided by the institute. I have keen interest in Event Management that’s why I chose this course and enrolled in the institute as fests were held every month. Smart classes are done with group discussions and smart board for presentations and educational videos.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculties are well educated and helpful. Some of the faculties are a little too strict and they give punishment to those who are late to classes. The faculties teach the students based on the current aspects of the market and economy so that students are well prepared for commercial world.
 

Placement Rating
There is a training and placement cell available in the institute. It provides placement opportunities for internships also. Many reputed companies that visited the campus for recruitment are Amazon, Wipro, Infosys, Google, etc.
 

Hostel Rating
The hostel is top notch and students are provided with GYM and swimming pool facilities. Along with 2 cafeterias where menu is different every day. The hostel rooms have two beds as two students are enrolled in the same room.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure wise, the institute provides a huge library with over 10000 books. Each class has a smart board and is fully air-conditioned. There is a huge auditorium for cultural events and competitions. The auditorium can accommodate a sitting of more than 5000 students. The institute is filled with trees to promote greenery and clean environment.
 

Campus Rating
The crowd at the institute is top notch with students from well-reputed schools. More than seven clubs are there for students to indulge in extracurricular activities. Fests happen every month. Along with that, JIIT is also known for its brawls that happen every week between B.Tech and bba students as well as students from other Universities that are near the campus.

    From my experience, I would say that the usual environment of the college is that of more focus on studies along with plenty of pockets of opportunities for the students in extracurricular activities through various student clubs and groups and also through the annual fests held in the college.     Till now it has been a smooth experience with JIIT. I will mention both the positives and negatives Positive: good lab infrastructure and qualified teacher. Negatives: poor sports facility.     To my side College is not as good as I expected before coming to college by seeing the reviews and YouTube videos. But it’s an average college with average placement. The Girl to Boy ratio in college is good, you can easily get a partner. The study here is okay but very strict time table.     Overall Rating
    I joined this college on 10+2 merit based counseling which is very fairly done. This college overall I would say is 7/10 for study, 5/10 Hostel, and 6/10 for placements. But what you could get here is very good environment and its present at the most premier location. You can easily get mode of transport for any place.     Been in this college for about 5 months and can say that the academic curriculum is just perfect. Not too much load for studies not that less either as compared to other colleges you will get rather difficult test papers but teachers teach at same level too so won’t be that big of an issue. One thing I must tell is that you won’t be able to do extracurricular activities much because of campus area restrains. The area is very small but well utilised.... Read Full Review
