Thoughts of Last Year Student

Overall Rating
It is the best choice for the students of engineering because of its good infrastructure, knowledgeable faculty, average placements and very low tuition fee. The seniors are also helpful in nature. They help in various ways such as by providing notes, helping in placements, and organizing the events like cultural event, coding hackathons. This year we all organized a cultural event that is named as ‘Anubhuti24’ in which we enjoy a lot.
 

Academics Rating
All the freshers of B.Tech have to study the same course in their first year. After first year, they study in their specific, which is the good thing for all students that they have little knowledge of all subjects of engineering. For admission in this college, the students have to pass the JEE Main entrance exam. Students can also get lateral entry through diploma. This institute is famous for its GATE scoring students. The students of KNIT got lowest rank in three-digit.
 

Faculty Rating
The teachers of our college are very helpful and competent. They have good knowledge not only in their subjects but also in other subjects also. They teach us from various sources which is easy to understand and easy to implement in practical life. Although, the teaching staff of Mechanical branch needs to be changed.
 

Placement Rating
The placement of this college is average. It invites both the multinational companies and the startups. Maximum package of 2024 batch was 32 LPA and the average package was 7.2 LPA. 100% placement is given to the students of non-core branch as the students of core branches are focused on preparing for GATE exam.
 

Hostel Rating
There are 10 hostels in the KNIT campus, out of which 8 are boys and remaining is for the girls. The hostel fee is very low which ten thousand rupees is only. Mess is compulsory to the students who reside in the hostel. The mess fee is excluded from hostel fee, which is 20 thousand per semester.
 

Infrastructure Rating
KNIT covers the area of 99 acres. There are two separated buildings, one for academics block and other for administrative block. In academics block, there is the division of floors for each department but there is no separate department for the Information Technology branch. There is a big ground for playing games. There is also the Alumni park in the college which tributes for the alumni of KNIT.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is best, awarded with best seniors, juniors, and faculty members. Events and fests are conducted regularly for personality development of the students. There are many clubs in the college, which helps in the personality as well as in the career development. The clubs such as Literary Council, Cultural Council, and Photographic & Fine Arts are conducting very interesting events. Clubs such as Institute Of Engineers India and Innovation Incubation & Startup Foundation (IISF) helps in the career development.

    KNIT Sultanpur is an autonomous institute. It has average infrastructure, hostel and very excellent professors and faculty. It has good environment, it has better placement opportunities and co-curricular activities than other institutes in AKTU. The seniors are very good and they guide what to do.     Kamla Nehru Institute of Technology is a very good college as it is ranked 2 among all AKTU colleges. It is situated near Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh.     KNIT Sultanpur is one of the top institutes in AKTU with great ranking. It is present on the river bank so you will have a great environment, and is has greenery everywhere. Its average package vary branch to branch, CSE has maximum package of 21 LPA in 2023. I have personally chosen this institute due to the alumni background.... Read Full Review

    Overall, I would like to say that it is a decent institute. My experience in the institute till now is very good. I am pursuing B.Tech in IT branch from here and it has a good academic environment.
