An Honest Review of RTU Kota

Overall Rating
I chose this university because one of my senior from school studied there and the university review was good. The core branch of this university is good. The campus of the university is good and the gender ratio in also good.
 

Academics Rating
You can enter this university through JEE exam and by filling REAP form. REAP forms are normally out in August. The minimum percentile of this university for CS and IT is about 85 - 90 percentile and for core branches is below that. My initial branch was Mechanical and then in internal sliding round I converted it to electrical and then from my 1st year marks I changed it to IT.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty of the core branches is good but for the tech branches it is ok. Some of the faculty members here are good. They have good experience and knowledge about the subjects they teach.
 

Placement Rating
The placement of this university is decent. The average package is around 4-5 LPA and the highest package is around 15- 20 LPA. The off campus placement is around 60 LPA. Students are allowed to sit in placements from final year onwards.
 

Hostel Rating
There are 5 hostels for boys and 2 hostels for girls. The hostel number - 1, 2 and 3 have single rooms. The hostel fee is 10000 per year. Hostel number 5 is double seater room and the fee is 12000 per year. Hostel number 4 has triple seater rooms (only for first year) and the fee is 8000 per year.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There are many buildings like seminar hall and more. The university has separate buildings for different departments. The university has a lot of grounds like cricket ground, badminton ground, volleyball court and more. It also has a gym, 3 canteens and 2 cyber café which are inside the campus which make the university good to live. The university has a dispensary which provides free medicines to the students.
 

Campus Rating
There are many clubs like finance club, music club, dancing club, business clubs, game clubs, and many more. The majority of the clubs are active and you can become core member of these clubs and there is a robotics club that can help you to learn a lot and many more robotics basics. The coding culture is average in the campus.

    Rajasthan Technical University is one of the best government institutes in Rajasthan. The infrastructure is good. All the facilities are available like hostel, playing grounds, badminton court, and gym in the college campus. Students living in Rajasthan and in the states near Rajasthan should go to this college for pursuing B.Tech or any technical related course. The proper faculty staff is available in this college.     As we talk about Rajasthan Technical University, it is the biggest university of Rajasthan. The university is located in Kota which has all things required by a student. As I am a day scholar so my first choice was this college and to get admission in this college. One should give JEE entrance exam and had to secure percentile above 55 so to get a good branch.     The college comes in the top most ranking in Rajasthan Engineering Colleges. The college campus is well maintained and there are lots of trees planted in the college which give us natural oxygen and a healthy environment.
