THE IGDTUW REVIEW- HONEST AND TRUST WORTHY

Overall Rating
IGDTUW is famous for its placement records in the past years. Companies come here specially to recruit women. So anyone should come here just because of the placement opportunities offered, if eligible. Another reason is that the college is a government college, so the faculty, education and everything else is completely reliable and trust worthy. Then it is a girl’s college so the environment is very safe and sound.
 

Academics Rating
This college provides you with a wide range of course starting from B.Tech to B.Arch to M.Tech to Ph.D. Since this is a government college here entry, especially for engineering is a little tough. You have to at least have 93+ (For general...other category will be accordingly calculated) percentile in JEE main to get in here. There is no other eligibility requirement as such. Depending on your choice of branch It can get tougher.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty in IGDTUW is no doubt very well educated, well qualified and well experienced. All the faculty members are full of knowledge. While studying you won't feel like something is missing because this is a government college, so no doubt about the faculty's qualification. There is a concept of guest faculty which enhances the overall education because the guest teacher that come to the campus are purely into their field and they teach very well.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, there is a placement cell in our college which helps the students from the beginning to end. From the exam for job round to the interview.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, there is a hostel in the college which is only given to the students who are based outside Delhi like the students who has a Delhi-quota they won't get the hostel.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Talking about infrastructure, it is quite average, in all the blocks the chairs, tables, blackboard, stage, projector, all of them are in satisfactory conditions but needs renovation / upgradation. Many classrooms don't have an AC in them. Even the labs are not well maintained and most of the equipments need replacement. Otherwise it’s okay in general.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is quite okay. Being a good college, there are real societies that exist To be part of the societies One has to pass its exam. Then these colleges have their particular events from time to time. To mention, there is one of the most anticipated society i.e. IEEE, conducting most of the events like guest speeches, etc. IGDTUW has one of the biggest TECH FEST, around organized in December or January every year.

    IGDTUW is an all women's university. It is a decent university which accepts B.Tech students through JAC Delhi based on their JEE Mains score. IGDTUW has a good placement rate and the campus is Decent too. Although many improvements are needed. Many teachers are good at teaching their respective subjects. The faculty is fine too.     The overall experience is good. IGDTUW provides a variety of courses such as B.Tech, B.Arch, B.Plan, BBA, MBA, etc. The average and highest packages are increasing every year. 1.2 CPA CTC was the highest international package the previous year. I feel the college will be introduced higher packages if the student is bona fide, skilled and has good communication skills.
