My Opinions about Jamia Millia Islamia University

Overall Rating
The fees structure is so feasible for the students who don't want to spend lakh on doing MBA. So yeah first factor would be that. Then the campus culture is also so lively. Campus placements are also fine, this year my senior got placed at 24 lakh per annum. You can take guidance from the faculty but you have to strive yourself to up skill yourself as facilities are limited.
 

Academics Rating
Academic curriculum program is moderate, but yeah the faculty is fine and you will get good insights about practical approach of corporate world. Exposure is limited, but you can be a part of active societies in Jamia Millia Islamia University to make good connections. Now an alumni cell is also there which strengthens opportunities by inviting alumnae to give insightful sessions. To enter into one of the MBA program you have to clear Jamia entrance, and then GD and interview. There are 3 streams mainly full time, international business and entrepreneurship.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty is experienced and the books they refer to are from the current world exposure requirements. Classes are held on time and also the attendance should be maintained at 75%. If you are looking for doing MBA at lower cost than Jamia Millia Islamia University with these much facilities is the best option obviously after FMS DU. Summer internships are also taken very seriously and we have to present the report of our work to the faculty for evaluation.
 

Placement Rating
Placements are fine and the ROI according to the fees structure is also good. This year highest placement was for 24 lakh per annum, median placement was 8 lakh. Placements are active on LinkedIn.
 

Hostel Rating
There are separate hostels for both boys and girls. There are 3 hostels mainly for girls which are BHM, J&K, and COGR. The hostel annual fee structure is only 46000 approx which is very low cost. The facilities include meal (3 times a day), clean washrooms, three seater rooms, clean drinking water and laundry from outside if wanted to. The timings for girls to get inside is 10 pm.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure is also good, not world class but yeah it's a new building of management so it has AC classes, well set up Mics and desks. Also there are girl’s common rooms and library along with seminar rooms. The Greenery around give calm vibes and there are food stalls and canteen at every 1 km, where refreshments and tea coffee is served. Library is also equipped with AC and latest edition books. There are 3 floors in MBA building. You can get exposure by interacting with seniors of different branches.
 

Campus Rating
The management department has various clubs of its own, such as marketing club, finance club, etc. but they are not that active but perhaps from this year they will be conducting fun and learning activities. Also at the end, the best clubs will receive “the best club award". Apart from this, placement cell is active, with alumnae cell and other various world based societies such as 180 DC, Enactus and economics society. So it totally depends on you to take the lead. Overall campus life is good of Jamia Millia Islamia University.

    Jamia Millia Islamia has been ranked No.3 by NIRF. My overall Experience in the university was exceptionally good. The Faculty of Law of Jamia Millia Islamia has been ranked No.6 by NIRF in 2024. The Main reason why I chose this university is because of its Prime location which is located in Delhi. Also, the fee is absolutely very less as compared to other law colleges.     I chose this university due to several points. First of all it is in Delhi and as a law student you can get a good exposure of all tiers of judiciary, other tribunals and legal authorities. Secondly, the university is affordable. The fee is 15k per annum for regular and 50k per annum for self. It has a good NIRF ranking and a good status. The University also has a great alumni base....     One of the major factor for which I choose Jamia milia islamiya is its fees and its nirf ranking which is 26th in terms of engineering Also one of the major reason to join Jamia Millia Islamia was its campus is in Delhi where I get quite good exposure. My JEE Main percentile was 97 and I get computer science in Jamia Millia Islamia. The ROI which you get here is also very impressive.... Read Full Review
