Short Review about My College DSCE

Overall Rating
Overall, I would say my college is pretty good in terms of placements and college life but you have to manage a bit in terms of fee expenses. if you can afford, you can go with it. Major reason for choosing DSCE over other college is that it’s provides us with pretty good exposure and job opportunities.
 

Academics Rating
For enrolling into this program, you first need to pass your boards examinations and then appear into Comedk examination if you are not from Karnataka. If you are from Karnataka, then you can take admission through Comedk as well as managements quota.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty here is pretty much qualified. All of them are mostly PhD qualified. They are approachable. but as you are in college, you have to focus on your studies. Talking about their style of teaching, they are teaching us from the given modules and notes we just need to study from the notes.
 

Placement Rating
In terms of placement, Yes DSCE has its own placement cell. Placements in DSCE are pretty well in top branches. But for lower branches, it’s not at all worth it. For CSE related branches average package is 10 LPA, for ECE its 8.5 LPA and for lower branches its 4.5 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, the college provides hostel facilities. However, they are not up to the mark. Make sure to visit the hostels before opting to stay there. There are multiple PGs and other rental housing facilities near the college.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure is pretty good and campus is very beautifully built. It has lush green campus, which is very well maintained. It has consists of 17 buildings for different branches along with a rock garden. This garden is a perfect hangout place inside campus while outside campus there are many places outside like malls markets and other nearby places.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life in DSCE is very good. There are many clubs like entrepreneurship club, Coding clubs, dancing, singing clubs, and others. There are lots of fest such as Vibrations and Furore. They are cultural fests. the crowd here represents mini India, as you will find people from all over India (from North to South). there are many activities taking places time to time.

  • DSCE is just a big name but has nothing much to be appreciated about

    I attended Dayanand Engineering College for my Bachelor’s degree Biotechnology. DSCE has a limit of sixty students per year for this course. You can get in this course by writing the CET. You have to have a minimum percentage of at least 45% in your 11th and 12th, and need to have taken physics and maths. If you want to get in by management quota, you need to have at least 50% marks, and chemistry subject is also required and of course a huge donation amount as well. Donations have become a ne...
