My Journey in Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology

Overall Rating
Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology is very good university. It has very rich history. It have very strong alumina network. Its faculty and infrastructure is very good. This university is mainly famous for producing students who crack government exams like GATE and UPSC. Its campus is very good and has one of the biggest libraries in Asia.
 

Academics Rating
Academics of this university are very tough as compared to other universities in Uttarakhand. This is because the curriculum is made by university. This curriculum is very good. Students need to study very hard to get a decent CGPA. Courses that are present are very good for a student to learn new things and get close to what Engineering is all about.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty members of this university are very experienced and supportive. They take care of students' well being very carefully. Though, there are many faculties who make life of student tough by doing strict marking due to which student need to focus more on academics. faculties present in the university are very well educated from many IITs.
 

Placement Rating
Placement of this university is average. That’s why many students apply for off campus placement rather than on campus and others try to crack government exam.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostels of this university are decent. It has enough resources for student to live a good hostel life. It provides a decent mess food. Hostel life is very good for students. It timely arranges many extracurricular activities for student of hostel.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure of this university is decent. As this university is very old, we expect a very strong infrastructure. It has a very large area for its campus. In this university, almost everything is present for a student’s who is pursuing engineering. This includes all type of laboratories, registrar office, and library buildings. The university is divided into two buildings NCT and PCT. it has stadiums, which are open for everyone.

    As I am still a student of College of Technology, Pantnagar. I know the worth of being in this amazing institution. The events that held here are of top-notch quality. Once you have attended any of these events, you will less likely to forget it in your entire lifetime. We began attending colleges once again after the COVID-19 break.   • Amazing college life here

    Overall, I haven’t got a chance to enjoy it a lot currently. During our first year, we got the first two semesters in campus, and then happened a break, to which we never got a chance to return due to covid-19. Besides, my first year went extremely well. Hostel experience, away from home was good. College studies went well, and are also currently going well.     My experience at GBPUA&T altogether was more of learning than that of fun. As I have opted for a B.Tech course, I am fully satisfied with the choice I made four years back. I have had many first experiences both at hostel and at college. The competitive environment has boosted up my skills and knowledge regarding my subject.     College of Basic Sciences and Humanities take admission through JEE only. In this college, there is only one course available that is B.Tech biotech. For the biotech branch in B.Tech, they have a separate college otherwise every other B.Tech branch is in a different college. But the admission process is the same. During counseling, biotech has the lowest JEE cut-off. You can get admission with a low rank in bio-tech also around 1 lakh or under it for general candidates. The college is accredited...
