Friendly Environment for freshers

Overall Rating
The overall experience is great. Unlike other universities, the seniors here are really great and supportive. The teachers will give you positive criticism which is good for your future performance. The labs and classrooms are also well maintained. The syllabus is completed in time and there is no such pressure on us about assignment and record submission. The interaction with students and teachers is the best to be honest.
 

Academics Rating
As it is the top state government engineering university of Odisha, it lives up to its popularity. The students are very talented because the JEE Main cut off is high as compared to other universities. We first sent the application through an online medium and then came to the university for documents verification. The admission procedure was not that difficult.
 

Faculty Rating
The classes are fun and innovative. The teachers try their best to put efforts to interact with all the students present in the classroom. Unlike any other universities, the labs here are fun and exciting. The teachers do not just make us memorize the stuff, they also give their great efforts to make us understand and learn from what they are teaching us.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure is old yet very beautiful. The buildings here make us feel like they want to tell us a story. The classrooms are spacious and well-painted. In each floor there is a sufficient number of washrooms to use, and the hygiene is maintained well.
 

Campus Rating
The university is focused on studies as well as the extracurricular activities for the students. There are multiple clubs where students learn new skills and participate as per their comfort. It also conducts various events where students get a chance to express their talents. They conduct events like Hackathon, annual cultural function, sports meet, science exhibition, etc.

    It was my dream to crack NEET and be part of a prominent University / Institute / University. For the same I prepared for NEET after 12th but I could not crack it. I gave JEE mains exam and my marks in it were 81%. Due to this reason I joined OUTR because this is a good University. It was recommended to me by my relatives.     Very good platform for getting placements and highly qualified teachers are mentoring us. They interact with us and become friendly to us. Many extracurricular activities and fest occurs to foster our skills. There are many clubs that creates interest and develop our personal outlook. Yoga classes are really beneficial to us.
