MES College of Engineering and Technology: Good Academics & Placements

Overall Rating
The college is located between Aluva and Angamali railway station. The college is affiliated with Abdul Kalam Technical University. The campus is average and students are less. The college provides hostel facility and canteen. The faculties are good. Those who are interested only in studies can opt this college. There is lack of cultural events in this college. In my opinion, I do not suggest anyone to join in this college. The college has a placement cell. Last years, it provided few placements.
 

Academics Rating
MES College of Engineering and Technology follows curriculum of ordered by AKTU, which is updated after every four years. This provides engineering courses such as Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science Engineering & Artificial Intelligence & Data Science, etc. The AI course is established at last year. You can join this college through allotment and management or NRI quota. The fees structure is different for every quota.
 

Faculty Rating
The college comprises of a very friendly teaching and non-teaching staffs. All of the professors are great and expert in their respective subjects. Most of them are M. Tech and PhD holders. They are willing to contribute to the development of every individual student in the college. they put their maximum effort for that. The mode of teaching is little outdated though. The classes are conducted without using any visual representation methods by only oral ways.
 

Placement Rating
The college has placement cell in our institution. It is active in providing a number of students with a good placement.
 

Hostel Rating
MES College of Engineering and Technology provides hostel for boys and girls. The hostel fee is Rs. 5500. The hostel is worth for the fee structure. The mess includes 3 meals a day along with evening snack with tea. The boy’s hostel is rented apartment.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus contains 2 blocks. In front of the college, there is a basketball court. On the ground floor, there is reception, classes of Computer Science department and canteen. The office, principal's room, library and program lab are located at first floor. In second floor, there is a prayer hall and few more classes of Computer Science and AI. The third floor has drawing hall and lab for Electrical Engineering. Fourth floor has labs of Chemistry and Physics.
 

Campus Rating
The overall campus life is satisfying. The strength of the students is probably less. There are different types of clubs in the college. For personal and skill development, there are clubs like IEEE, IEDC, GDC, GDSC, etc. there is National Service Scheme social club. Probably few programs are conducted here.
