Galgotias College of Engineering and Technology : My Views

Overall Rating
Galgotias College of Engineering and Technology is affiliated to AKTU. It is situated at knowledge park 2 in greater Noida, UP. It is the best college amongst all the colleges situated in greater Noida. It is best at academics, placements, and infrastructure and in all other aspects like campus life also, among all engineering colleges situated near it. It has cafeteria where all eatables are available. Mess food is also fresh here.
 

Academics Rating
Galgotias College of Engineering and Technology has many courses. I am from B.Tech in Information Technology course. In B.Tech there are many branches available in this college like Computer Science Engineering, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Advance Telecommunication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and Electrical Engineering. Computer Science Engineering has many specializations such as Data Science, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, etc.
 

Faculty Rating
Galgotias College of Engineering and Technology has sufficient faculty for different branches and courses available in campus. probably they are the best faculties available in any college out there as all of the faculties have done Ph.D in their respective branches and courses they are teaching. Non Ph.D holders are not allowed to teach in this college so you will be studying from the person who has done Ph.D in a course and he will teach you the best according to his knowledge and will also give you deep knowledge about that course.
 

Placement Rating
It has its own placement cell that invites all the companies to do hiring from this college. Students who maintain their CGPA up to 8 are allowed to sit in interview for jobs. All the placement packages are available on internet and social media.
 

Hostel Rating
It has two in-campus hostels in which one is for boys and other is for girls. In girl’s hostel is called Galgotias University's girls stay. Both the hostels are well maintained with best infrastructure and all the facilities available there are best.
 

Infrastructure Rating
It has one of the best infrastructures with respect to other colleges situated nearby. For every department there is a different block. For first year, Civil and Mechanical branch there is a D block, for CSE there is E block, for IT there is C block and for management & MCA course there is A block.
 

Campus Rating
Galgotias College of Engineering and Technology has best campus life as it has best infrastructure and hostel available in campus. There is greenery present in the college. There are two grounds one is big one and other short ground that is CDE ground. One of the best fest that is organised in the college is UNIFEST which is celebrated every year and in that every student enjoys a lot.

    I joined Galgotias college of engineering in the year 2024. After few months of joining, I was introduced to several clubs in the college dealing with various fields like graphic designing, coding, dance club, music club, fashion club and many more.
