Great college life at MVSR Engineering College

Overall Rating
The college has a large library, separate blocks for each branch, and well-equipped labs. It also has a sports ground, automobile workshops, and food stalls. The faculty is well-qualified, knowledgeable, and helpful. The Placement Cell at MVSR has a success rate of around 80%. Major recruiters include Deloitte, Cognizant, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, and Accenture. The Placement Cell is effective in training them for the industry.
 

Academics Rating
In Maturi Venkata Subba Rao Engineering College the courses are good and core subjects have good information on programming languages like Java, C, and Python. We can learn the basics of these languages in the first year of college. The course I chose is Information Technology where the entry requirements are to get a good score in EAMCET and have a minimum rank of 10,000. If you have below 5,000 rank, then you can choose your preferred course to get started with.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty in this college is very good and experienced. Most of them have completed their Post Graduation. Teachers of the core subjects are very good at teaching quality and are able to clear all the doubts of the students. The faculty is well-behaved with students and encourages students to participate in extracurricular activities.
 

Placement Rating
Overall, the placements at MVSR are good but there are some Mechanical Engineering students who believe that the placement process could be improved. Civil Engineering students do think that there should be more placement opportunities for them. Although they get job opportunities in IT companies as well.
 

Hostel Rating
The college has hostels for students at a distance of 500 meters. The food served in the mess is good and healthy but sometimes the food is average. The hostels are maintained and kept clean. The infrastructure is good. They provide beds, a study table for students and one pillow.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Some say that the college has great infrastructure and facilities, including a library, free Wi-Fi, good classrooms, seminar halls, and separate hostels for boys and girls. There are CBT labs which are well-maintained and air-conditioned. They provide a peaceful environment for students to take exams. The campus is spacious and has modern technology. There is a wheelchair accessible at the entrance and parking lot in case of emergency or extra medical care.
 

Campus Rating
The college conducts some events and parties like fresher’s parties but there are no club events, only some events like flash mobs, etc. They conduct sports activities like cricket and some tournaments against some other colleges.The college organises large events like "sangamam" which was held in April 2024, and they have sport events which are inter college level where all colleges meet called "Athlema". They also hold inter branch competitions.

    MVSR Engineering College is very good. Lecturers give extra knowledge. If you want career guidance, there are many available to guide students. Before joining, I do not have any impression on the college but now I can conclude that it is a decent college. Inside the college, students have complete freedom compared to other colleges.     Missing out on IITs is never a good feeling but then MVSR happened to me. Yes, automobile engineering here is the most famous department but CSE too is equally good. Some harsh faculties and too much of practical applications but it’s all worth it as I have met some IITians during internships and it felt no different competing with them education wise....
