My View on Lakshmibai College (W)

Overall Rating
I chose Lakshmibai College (W) because I am a player of Netball and this college let's you play the game. If we talk about my experience after joining, I'd say its better than I expected. It's a girl college so there is no particular dress code. All the students are friendly.
 

Academics Rating
To enroll, one must give CUET. Again, the college has sports and ECA quota. I've been a student of History and wanted to continue the same that's why I chose this course for myself. I scored 438/600 in CUET and had sports quota too. There's no age limit to enroll.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty here is nice and helpful. As a first year student, you get confused a lot, and there are things you don't know about. The faculty always makes sure that you know basic things about college and your course. They start with telling you about syllabus and marking schemes. Most of them are PhD holders, know what they are teaching, and have passion about making students learn new things instead of just completing the syllabus.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, we do have placement cell.
 

Hostel Rating
Lakshmibai College (W) doesn't provide residential facilities but there are lot of hostels and PGs for girls on a walking distance from college.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The college has a great infrastructure. the college has 4 buildings, canteen, sports ground, stages for dance performances, and a big ground with greenery, swings, peacocks and other animals as well. Lakshmibai College (W) has canteen and benches near to enjoy lunch with your friends. The college has a library too that can help you study in peace.
 

Campus Rating
There are lots of club in this college. We have fests, seminars, panel discussions, and general body meetings to take decisions. We have dance and singing societies as well. The campus life is overall peaceful and beautiful. Although I've never been to a fest yet but I looked at Diwali fest’s photos, videos, and it was full of energy.

    Lakshmibai College may not have a huge campus like the north or south campus but it's beautiful and charming in its own way. The atmosphere is very friendly and the teachers are genuinely supportive. As a woman, I always feel safe to roam in the campus. Each department regularly organizes workshops, debates, events and sports activities, so you will always find something happening at the college.     The level of education at the Lakshmibai College is quite good. Here, we have well qualified teachers who are really devoted to their work. About extracurricular activities, there are a lot of options available ranging from dance, music, art, debating, sports, social welfare, yoga, etc. The college campus is quite big, having a decent crowd.
