St. Xavier's College, Kolkata, is an institution with a NAAC ranking of A++. It is ranked 5 in the Nation by NIRF. It is a very good place to study academic courses like BA, B.Sc and B.Com. The course is constantly updated over the years to enable students to be equipped with recent research and knowledge. There are several societies one can join in order to enhance their skills, knowledge and experience. Overall this is a college that focuses on holistic development of the students.

The academic coursework is rigorous & is up to date with recent technology. The coursework gives you in-depth knowledge that will enhance your ability to research and eliminate some basic issues that most Computer Science students face. The question paper pattern is interesting with tests on practical work and theoretical knowledge. The process of judging a student is holistic and the college organises seminars and more to keep the students more informed.

The faculty of St. Xavier's College, Kolkata is one of the very best that you can get. They are highly educated and amazing teachers who have a passion for teaching and are just not there to get paid. The dedication of the faculty shows in every lecture. They are ready to guide and inspire students at all times. The lab assistants are very helpful as well. The professor guides you very well and helps you prepare for anything that you aspire to work on.

The placement is alright, the highest salary every year is around 24-25 lakh. The median salary is 8-9 lakh. The college does provide 100% placement. The college provides good guidance to students.

I don't stay in a hostel so I don't know much about the hostel situation. But from my friends I know that the infrastructure in the hostel is very good.

St. Xavier's College, Kolkata has top notch infrastructure. The college has massive classrooms, with big windows and doors. The buildings and rooms will never suffocate you. There is a two storey library in our college with online service. You can get a subscription to some of the best journals from the library. The college has a tie up with Microsoft so you can use Microsoft premium. The labs are well maintained with top notch instruments to work with. The college has several labs like finance labs, data science labs, computer labs, content creation labs, research labs and more. We also have a whole building dedicated to multimedia.

Campus life thrives throughout the year with several events, societies & seminars. We have a massive playing field, basket ball court, two massive libraries and an auditorium. We have an astronomical society with an observatory. Every kind of talent has a space to shine in this college. From film societies to entrepreneurship development cell. We have it all. Several events focused on different professions and different talents keep happening all round the year. College is a place that inspires and lets you inspire others. It is a place where you can discover what your interests are.
