Overall, TNNLU is a great place where you can find diverse people from various parts of India. You'll find various people with varying opinion and ideas, which will be helpful. We don't have dress code. We have decent sports amenities, we’ll be taken to sports fest in other collages, and our college will have sports fest of its own. We have shops nearby were we can get snacks and necessary items. Our campus is located outside of the city and it’s the major disadvantage as it takes around 40 minutes to reach city. Overall, it is a decent campus.

Currently, TNNLU has 2 courses for UG (BA LLB & B.Com LLB) which is a 5 years course. For LLM, it is offering one-year course of Corporate and Securities Law, IPR and Natural Resources. The entry is through CLAT exam results and counseling process.

The faculties are friendly. They are ready to help you whenever you have any doubt and they are easily approachable. There are limited faculties in TNNLU, which provides an amicable relationship between the students and faculties. You can meet them in person and it offers mentorship programs, where a mentor faculty will be provided to the students yearly to whom they can contact for doubts regarding education or personal issues that are affecting you in general or campus life.

Yes, the placements are being provided yearly but the rate is low compared to other top NLUS. Last few years have seen improvements where the students got into top tier law firms like Trilegal, LakshmiKumaran & Shridharan, Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas, Commercial Law Advisers, and many more. Some of my senior friends are also successfully enrolled in the bar council too. We have an Internship and placement committee, which exclusively function for this process.

Yes, it’s also mandatory for the student to stay at the hostels, as it is residential hostel. It has laundry and dining services. We have the hostels situated right in front of the UG and PG block so you don't have to run for classes through long way. It is not an air-conditioned hostel and we have a unisex GYM, which is air-conditioned in each hostel.

It has a decent infrastructure. We have canteen, GYM, post office, music room, dance room, and security guard’s residential at the amenities block. We have administrative block for academic purposes. We have security guards in front of the hostels, a football court, volleyball court, basketball court, and a badminton court. Both the PG and UG block has classrooms, which are air-conditioned and cleaned every day. A library, which is the largest among the South Indian NLU's. There is also Multipurpose hall and a parking lot for student’s vehicles. It is a small campus. We have a guest accommodation along with a park too.

Campus life will be vibrant. We’ll be having celebrations for Pongal, Onam, Diwali, Holi, and Halloween and on any other special occasions. Apart from this, there will be many competitions conducted by the university itself or it will notify students for other competitions in which you can apply and gain knowledge. There are many centers, which you could be a part of and many events will be conducted by them. There are clubs and committees too. The security guards are very friendly which is safe and secure for the students in the collage. We have annual cultural and sport fest too. We'll have clubs like Dance, Music, Photography, Art, and lot more for recreation and they'll be conducting events frequently.
