My life at SAKEC, Mumbai

Overall Rating
My overall review for this college would be that it’s a pretty good institution to study in. Admission to this college depends on your CET marks and if you are getting this college in allotment then you should definitely go for it. College has been granted the Autonomous status from the year 2024.
 

Academics Rating
There are many courses available in this college which can be checked on the college’s website. The entry requirements are that you have to appear for MHT CET or JEE Mains and based on your percentile you will be allotted this college. My motive to enroll in this program was that I wanted to study B.Tech in Electronics and Computer Science.
 

Faculty Rating
Half of the teachers are very supportive and good, while the rest are average. The teachers here are knowledgeable, though you need to approach them. Internship opportunities are provided along with the course that helps the students becoming industry ready. Exams are moderately difficult.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, there is a Placement Cell in the college which actively helps the students in getting placed. It also conducts events for us to understand the placement process and what skill we should acquire for getting a good placement.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The overall infrastructure of the college is average as it has only one building of seven floors. So, there are different academic blocks, but amenities are properly available in the campus like water coolers, seating arrangement for students, etc. The library and auditorium of the college are very good.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life of this college is not that great as it is present only in a building and no open spaces are there to enjoy with friends. The students only have two options to spend leisure time with their friends which are the college canteen where the food is average, and second place is the college foyer.
